So Chloe hasn't had insulin since 1/14 PMPS. Although she has been having diarrhea, what does this mean???????

Diarrhea can be caused by many things. Have you made any food changes? Do you put pumpkin in her food? Pumpkin is good for both constipation and diarrhea. I see in your signature "sm intestinal wall thickening" which I assume is suspected IBD. Loose stools are common with IBD. I'd try pumpkin or if you have Slippery Elm Bark you can add that as well.

No i havent changed her food, its been the friskies pate for about a month. Diarrhea has been going on for a couple days now. No i dont put pumkin in her food, never thought of that.

pumkin in her food
You can try 1/4 tsp twice a day but if it's bad you may want to pick up some SEB or the S. Boulardii Wendy mentioned. Either of those would likely stop it quicker. Then go try pumpkin for maintenance. We're not vets so watch her and if needed make an appointment but hopefully it will pass soon.

One thing that is really important to watch for when your kitty has diarrhea for more than a day or so is dehydration. Grasp the skin at her scruff and pull it up and let go. Does it "snap" back or return to normal slowly? Are her gums pink and moist or are they tacky? If she is dehydrated, she may need subcutaneous fluids.

Is there anything else about her that is different? Is she eating well? Drinking water? Does she appear uncomfortable? Is she "meatloafing" or does she sprawl out or curl up when she is relaxing?

Some cats assume this position frequently, but for many cats, this position means they are uncomfortable.

Besides plain, canned pumpkin, you can also give her a little baby food squash. About a teaspoon mixed in her food is a good place to start. Of course, if she doesn't like it, that would be counterproductive.

It's great that Chloe doesn't seem to need insulin. I would encourage you to keep tabs on her BGs, though, in case that changes.

Please let us know how Chloe does. We care. I have been wondering how she was doing since you last posted.
