Well, today Tuffy is OTJ 8 months. She is still being Tuffy, stealing my pilates mat, decorating with the toilet paper if I forget to remove it. Destroying the tissues and anything else her kitty brain can think of. She was furious the other night when I was up and she wanted to go to bed. Oh Well, stuff happens.

On another note, I will be MIA on Friday. My Grandson is swimming in the SEC Championships. The family will be there and we have not been able to get together for over 2 years. Rich has a difficult schedule (7 days a week) and I can haul the kitties but not the horses so -----------. Weather forecast is not good for Friday morning but I will make it and will return Friday night after finals. Yes, I am very excited and also proud. Rich has coached Peter since he started swimming at 6. All crossed for them both.

Lee is back in the hospital and I'm doing barn 2x daily - tomorrow will be very busy with getting everything together and making my son a Chocolate Chip Pound Cake. Kids never change.

Please know that all of our ailing kitties are in my thoughts and prayers along with their very spcial beans. Sending all positive vines, white light and tons of snowflakes.

How great you will get to go to the swim meet...good luck to Peter and have a very safe trip.
 
What a good report, Barbara! Congratulations Tuffy!! Friday sounds like it will be a terrific day for the family. I hope your DGS does well in the swim meet and that everyone will have a good time.

What a special anniversary this is! Way to go, Ms. Tuffy Who Lives Up To Her Name! I'm so happy for you, Barbara. Couldn't happen to a more deserving bean. o:-)

Fingers and paws crossed here too for the swim meet!!
 
You Rock Tuffy!!!!! Keep it up!!!!! I love that she is so mischievous. How does she steal your yoga mat?

Thanks for the support for Peter. He is ranked 2nd in the 200 and 400 IM. It will be an exciting meet and wonderful to see them. I am very excited.

I'm sure Tuffy will find something to get into while I'm gone to show her displeasure. She sometimes smacks me when I'm on the computer or else tries to walk on the keyboard.

Karrie: Tuffy steals my mat by walking around me a few times. If I don't get up, she nips my arm. If that fails she tries an ankle. No success with that so she walks across me and finally sits on my chest. Tuffy weights 20 lbs. I tell her if she suffocates me she will not get fuds. Her name fits her. But, at least with the child locks on the bathroom vanity she can no longer empty that.

Congrats to Tuffy on his anniversary!! Such a wonderful milestone!!

Good luck to your grandson on Friday. For what university does he compete? I'd like to be able to give out a quite "Go get em _____________!" on Friday, even if just quietly in my office. So exciting for your family!!

Have a great time at the swim meet. I know your grandson will do well especially with his proud Grandma in the stands cheering him on. Tuffy cut your Mom a break while she's gone on Friday. She needs a bit of Bean time once in awhile. Be a good girl OK?
 
Peter swims for University of Georgia. He is swimming the 200 and 400 IM. He is ranked 2nd in the SEC Division. He has qualified for NCAA's for the 3rd year and also qualified for Olympic Trials. He is an NCAA Honorable Mention All American and an All American Scholar. Yes, I'm very proud of him and his father. Swimming is a tough sport. 7 days a week 364 days a year. They get Christmas off.

Go get the PETER. I'm very excited. Don't get to see him swim much anymore.

About emptying the vanity in your bathroom. Maybe she's just trying to help you with your Spring cleaning, hahahaha!
As for the pilates mat... well she needs her exercise too. A girl has to keep her svelte 20lb figure. :?


And the real reason Tuffy always gets her way.... she has the right equipment.

Happy (belated) anniversary to Miss Tuffy. Have fun with the family tomorrow, you deserve a day off from the "normal" routine. Scritches to everyone.

A belated Happy 8 Months Anniversary wish here too. I just love the Tuffy stories. Her name could have been Spunky....cause she has lots of it.

I hope you enjoyed the swim meet. What a great accomplishment...no wonder you are so proud. :mrgreen:
