I’m not going to stay up late as I’m exhausted. Will get a +5. His nadir unfortunately is usually around +10 so will feed him at +5 and hope he surfs safely til 6am.I'm right there with you. Not quite as low just yet, but a +2 of 150 when he's usually still having a food spike. So much for that bottle of wine we had planned on. There's always breakfast, right?
Not really. But I feel safe shooting the low numbers because I grab a second test with the old meter - accucheck - and I make an educated guess that he’s likely somewhere between the two. On accucheck a green is higher - a middle blue. So safe to say he’s likely at low blue. If I see low green or lime green I’ll definitely be snagging a second test.Makes sense. I think you’re way more experienced with lows than I am, so I’m still finding my footing and confidence.
I like the switch because his numbers suddenly “improved” but I keep double checking because given meter variance he is likely between the two. Both meters are human meters.I’ve considered switching to the human meter, both for better understanding of what lows mean and because of $$$. How do you like the switch?
Try here. Interesting reading if an old article. It looks like I’ve got some serious research and learning to do.
