Good Morning, Everyone,

It's a beautiful, cold day here in the mountains. Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans. He ate all his nighttime food and went galloping downstairs for his breakfast. We had a good test, shot, breakfast (combo plate of FF T& G and Wellness Turkey; first sitting eaten--the FF T&G--the Wellness left for "second sitting"). We had a nice schmooze and Rusty is chillaxin' on the couch this morning, waiting for his combing and a play session.

This afternoon we will go to the Met Opera in HD (Rigoletto) at the movie theater in Lake Placid. I'm glad to have another day to rest my pulled leg muscle.

Morning Ella, nice blue AMPS for the LagoonMeister. I love hearing how he gallops down the stairs for his breffifs. :-D Enjoy the Met Opera today. Kitties will have the run of the house. Mags says don't forget to bake the cinnamum cookies.

Wonderful morning condo for Rusty. I hope he doesn't decide to go deep-lagoon, swimming today, so you can enjoy the day at the opera.
Have you ever tried Arnica for the sore muscles? It's supposed to be used immediately after the original injury, but it may still help. I use the gel. I'm not sure if it helps, because my quad pain originates in the spine. Reason I can't sit long at a time.

I hope you feel better soon; snow won't last forever....only until June :lol:

I use a gel called Sombre for sore and tight muscles. Did this happen when you slipped at the creek? Ugh. Ice may still help too, 20 mins. Rusty, you are fabulous this morning. :-D :-D

Rusty! Just LOOK at you all decked out in GREEN! Would you send out that invite to Mr. KT? He's insisting on squattin' up there in the high yellows - no givin' up that crown for him he says....

Nicely done Sir Rusty! Tess says she's a little sleepy this morning, but will be back in the Lagoon soon.

Enjoy the opera, good way to give that leg a rest.

So nice to see the lagoon meister back at his post. Looking mighty fine today Rusty! You surf well for your bean while she is gone, daddy bean too!

Enjoy the opera Ella - what an enjoyable afternoon for you. And yes, a good way to rest that leg. I am guessing you pulled it on your snow shoe outing? Sorry I am so out of touch with all that is going on.... I've got to do better!

Hi again,

Well, our opera movie theater decided to do today's Met in HD opera as an "delayed performance" next Saturday. We found this out when we got there!! So we came home and listened to it on the radio with Rusty! I had put out a lot of FF T&G in anticipation of Rusty going even lower after the 52 at +5 (Rusty is on Lev. and onset usually will have just begun at +5). He ate it all over the course of the afternoon, so I think PMPS is food-influenced. Anyway, we had a relaxing afternoon.
My leg is feeling a lot better today. (Yes, I pulled a quad muscle when I stepped into the streambed that was covered with snow and went through the top layer of ice on one leg, to a depth that was over my knee. I didn't hurt the leg that went into the ditch--it was the other one, because it was a high and difficult step up to solid ground and I had on a 20-lb. pack, which made it harder.)

I hope Rusty will come back to the lagoon later this evening. Thanks for visiting us,
