Went ahead and shot per the sliding scale since food is a variable...still. Made it through work yesterday but was exhausted when I left so no trip to the store last night.

A huge difference I am seeing is the return of an appetite. They are eating with gusto! DH even opened another 5.5 oz. can yesterday when they ran out of food about +8/5-9 or so. It was gone when I got home at +12. Looks like I'm going to need to deal with dosing based on food being a variable if I don't want a mutiny on my hands. Pfft. Why on earth did I think they'd want to make this easy on me? ohmygod_smile

DH made himself a snack of cheese sticks after dinner. Poopy was furious when he wasn't allowed a nibble. Sat on the bed with his back to me for half an hour. Mean mom never relented so he finally stalked off, with that devil may care crook to his tail. Notice how I'm the food channel in this picture? :lol:
 
Great amps! Food seems to be the theme of the month ;)
I don't think they will ever make it easy on us. They like to change things on us as soon as we think we have them figured out!

Shakes will do the same, sit in front of me with his back to me and refuse to turn and look at me!!

That is Sneakers in the morning when I am sleeping. I don't have the food but she still insists on pestering me.
... eventually I get up and get her some.
 
Such funny personalities. When copper could jump up on my bed, he would jump up on top of me and sit on my chest(he was 21lbs) and MEOW as loud as he could over and over again until i got up. If that didn't work, then he would start nibbling at my chin. Too funny.

Poopy is a chin biter, too. As far as his meow, though, you'd think being as big as he is it would be deep and rumbly. Pfft. Itty Bitty Mia has a deeper meow than Poopy could ever dream of having! Poopy's actually sounds like a dainty meow! :lol: Many times he just mouths it. It really is funny to watch. :smile:
