Morning ~O) ~O) A nice blue start of the day for Maggie. This is a nice surprise as when I tested her last night at the +3, and she didn't move from her pm pre-shot. She must have surfed nice blues last night. I'm trying to get Mags to front load more with the eating but, still give her a little bite in the afternoon so as not to starve her (Maggie's words) :lol: Rain showers and cold this morning, yay, and then some sun in the afternoon.
Special thoughts and healing vines to all kitties needing them.

Pretty blue skies for Miss Maggie today. They do think they will starve don't they? DH and I had a conversation about this same thing last night. He gave the kitties some extra food at lunch yesterday for the afternoon because they were out of food and were starving (which means begging). I had to have the whole "you know they won't really starve right?" speech. It won't matter. He will do it again today I'm sure. :lol:

:lol: Melissa, I hate to admit this, but I am right there in the league with your DH and Leo's DGpa with the "you better feed me or I'll starve." I'm getting better though! It might be a gene that some of us carry where we can't say "no" maybe!

I agree: it is very hard to say "no" or "later" to our kitties. Sometimes Rusty forgets that he already has a little food left in his dish, so I just go an stir it up a little, add a little more water to freshen it, and he digs right in. Does he think he's getting more food?? Maybe he just goes along with the ploy.

The joys of free feeding, the answer is always yes. Well except for between +10 and PS nowadays but I think he's starting to get the hang of that lately because I've been finding him with his head in the bowl a lot when I go to take it away!

Very nice, Maggie!

My crew was "starving" all evening last night...I swear, I spent 4 straight hours feeding kitties one at a time, then starting over from the beginning. They love to mess with my mind!

Moonie now has 2 FF flavors in both of her dishes (YES she has food in 2 rooms!!) Just in case she gets hung up in one room only!! Talk about manipulation! I am leaving for TBP in 1 1/2 hrs..believe me she wont be eating unless I hand feed or leave! This cat will drive me nuts!!
Maggie Looks like she will be coming down to green within this cycle or next one...

Maggie's holding onto the low blue. If she hits a green, I'll miss it, as I'm off and running shortly.


Thanks Ella, Serryn, Amy, and Roni for the visits. :lol: It looks like we all have the weak gene in us that doesn't want our kitties to starve. :lol:
Roni has food in two rooms, and I sometimes leave a plate of fuds on my bed if Mags is napping and I will be gone a while. I don't want her to get down off the bed if she doesn't feel up to it! She has a placemat, too.

Maggie is having such a pretty numbers day today!! How awesome!! I'm a pushover when it comes to food with Champ...maybe that's why he's on the rotund side?!! :lol:

What a nice cycle for Maggie today!!!! A little green with that 124! Super!!!! Hope she did not starve while you were out.

Gracie sits on the counter and stares at us and then for extra effect, she whacks Tobey's food container (glass dish) into the sink :lol: :lol: :lol: Then has an innocent look on her face "I didn't do it!!".

Enjoy the sun coming in this afternoon and hope you get a nice day tomorrow.

Mags did get a snack a little before the +9, so this pm is a little food inspired.

Angela, she did come down nice and slow today.

Celi, the pic is hilarious. It's exactly like one of Maggie's strving stares. :lol:

Patty, I think it's also why Maggie is a bit on the plump side. :lol:

Marje, so funny with Gracie and whacking the dish. They sure have their way of getting our attention.

Sorry to be so late in visiting... It looks like Maggie had a good day - a nice steady blue surf. Way to go Maggie!

love the fuds stories - none of us want our furkids to starve... and they always seem to think they are. :lol: :lol: To fun with the bowl on the bed.

I hope your day was a good one. Were you able to go for a walk?
