Another Hump Day already???

Another day of sadness yesterday with Butthead's news. It is a very sad time in LL when three of our beloved kitties (Butthead being honorary) have been diagnosed with cancer. (((Butthead))), (((Rocket))), (((Blackie))) and your wonderful and dedicated beans....we send you all our loving prayers. Healing vines also to any other sick kitties and their beans.

WCR: 4Ps in place. Gracie has been a little crazy baby this morning. I have gotten maniacal about getting in 15 mins of meditation (hmmm...seems anthithesis: "maniacal" and "meditation" in the same sentence :lol: :lol: ) every morning but usually have to do it before her routine so I'm not late to TBP. This morning I was out on her enclosed patio where I meditate, sun coming up, quiet except birds and fountain, and then I hear this brrrrrrpppp, chirp chirp chirp and KA THUNK...right in my lap lands a Baby Gracie!!! She has the most endearing coo/purrs. She got right in my face and I could feel her soft whiskers and breath as if she was saying "ENUFF...FIX MY BREFFIS"!!! So I cut my session short by 5 mins to get her breffis ready but when it came time to pokey and feed her, then we had to play what Mike calls "silly buggers" and I had to follow her around for another 5 minutes before she would allow me to pick her up and go to the testing rug.....punishment for my meditation time no doubt :lol: :lol: :lol:

Off to TBP...I'm going to be late if I don't get going. Have a fantastic day.

GO GRACIE! sorry for the meditation interruption, but that is too cute.

Quite the morning cycle she had yesterday - no doubt a welcome home for cabana bean. Gotta make sure he knows he was missed. :-D I hope she has a great(s) cycle today.

Oh how cute with Gracie wanting to help you meditate, in a way or pay attention to her! Did you take a class to learn to meditate or self-help tapes! It might be something I may want to learn. I hope your day at tbp is goes smooth and fast for you.

I think playing with a kitty is just as good a way to start your day as meditation. Gracie sure has her opinion about which is preferable. :smile: I hope you have a good day! Looks like Gracie is clearing her bouncette already.

DH here - It looks like a slow day is shaping up, although you never know with Miss Gracie. I'm thinking slow day, busy night.

Don't think I would count my chickens before they hatch. That +2 in down a little. Perhaps she has a surprise in store for you. Gracie is trying to get your attention. She missed you.

What a nice gentle slide down.... no diving, no thing. I think she will give you a great pmps. NICE!

Ann (Tess): too cute.....you got the order of priorities for our little Princess down pat!!

Libby: yes....I'd rather play with her but she's fickle and I need the stressbuster every day :lol: :lol:

Ann (Maggie): when I had more time, I worked with a yoga therapy coach and she taught me meditation and chanting which I love to do....the vibration from the chants is good for your body.

Lisa: oh yes....she got blue but barely....just kind of skimmed it right before green :-D

Barbara: This is a typical Gracie day; if she doesn't move much by +2, she usually doesn't....she will either flatten out her cycle (high) or she'll be a locomotive!


Mannie I'm glad we got to do KTSS today and the other stuff!!! Great fun!!

Gracie has put on her green outfit! And yes, if you're trying to plumb the mysteries of the universe, she'll help you figure it out. You've heard of the Ptolemic theory, where all the planets and the sun revolve around the earth? Well, it's wrong. It's a kitty centered universe, and all the planets revolve around kitty. :lol:

Oh man...here's what happens when you shoot a dropping number.
PMPS: Fed her 6% w/12% gravy
+.5 84 fed her another tsp 12% gravy
+1 58 she got 6% with karo
+1.5 40..really Gracie???? 10% with karo (4FTs!!!)

So, yes we're staying on top of it although she hasn't levelled off yet....I'm thinking she's doing her usual stock up on carbs and then up she goes.

Michelle: Mike would probably rather have scotch than coffee....can you put a pot of that on? :lol: :lol: :lol:

What a lovely condo to read today! Willie always tries to "help" when I'm doing yoga at home... nothing like trying to drop to plank from an updog with a kitteh under your belly! :shock: So glad Gracie had a wonderful playful morning and dosecrease-earning numbers tonight!!

Absolutely giggling over the "maniacal meditation." Can't decide if it's the perfect name for a punk band, or the next great informercial!!

Hope you get some rest tonight!!

Oh my, she coasted all day and now she is doing her "thing". Good luck, not too much Scotch, need to stay awake. Save that for later have ~O) now.

DH here - So, she's up to 54 at 2.5. Not feeding this one and recheck at +3. She has had a lot of carbs already and she likes to use them all at once :-D If she isn't the same or higher at +3 I'll give her some more.

Hi Lisa!! I have to laugh because with Gracie, I think of diving as dropping 100 an hour which she has done. :lol: :lol: So I guess it's all relative based on how low they start.

Michelle: yay on the pot of scotch for DH....I'm headed for bed. Do they have hot scotchies (like hot toddies??) :lol:

Libby and Jill: wow....how lucky are we to have you both visiting tonight!. ..oh yes, it was probably that 40 that caught your eyes :lol: :lol: Truly, we are very glad you are there watching out for everyone and checking in when the numbers get low; it's just nice to know someone has your back.

Barbara: we were talking about Tuffy and Gracie and wondering if maybe Gracie, when she did not have FD, liked those low numbers :lol:

Christie: Tobey is a big helper when I'm going yoga and, yes, I've had that happen too....BUT it's also good because it makes me come down from down dog to plank VERY slowly so I don't squish him :lol: :lol: good for the strength building! :lol: :lol: on Maniacal Meditation being a punk band name...that cracked me up!!!

Well dear friends, time for me to head to bed...ain't I lucky with these numbers? At least I can sleep like a baby knowing Mike's got it under control.
