Ugh. Another pink number. If we don't hit green today which, let's be honest, probably won't happen, I forsee a dosecrease in the future. I don't get how his numbers are worse on this dose than they were on a lower one. That is something I will never understand.

Anyways...thanks for the suggestions on the spraying. I'll check the walls this morning and see if that is the issue. I know a lot soaked through to the pad in the living room, and I guess it could have happened in the den, but I would think it would also be on the top of the carpet. But we'll check and see what we can find.

looks like he's coming down at least some today.

cat urine is kind of an evil thing. punkin peed in the car once - of course, the one time i didn't have a box in there for him - on the way home from the vet and i tried the Nature's Miracle to get it out. Then tried another brand of enzymes, but when it gets hot, i can still smell it in the car. *sigh* if you figure out a cure, let me know!

So I looked all over the walls and furniture and can't find any evidence of cat urine. :cry:

We used Pawsitively Clean™ by Bissell® Pee-Eww Cat Urine Eliminator System in our living room. We got it at Petsmart, and it came with the black light. You saturate the area and then put a wet rag over the area, which pulls the urine up I to the rag, out of the carpet. It definitely took the smell out of the carpet in there. At least, I can walk into the room without smelling it anymore! I know it's there though. But I have to know where to treat it, you know?

One of the first things on my to-do list when I start working again is to get the carpets professionally cleaned! There's a place in the ATL that uses steam and allegedly doesn't leave any residue behind. Hopefully that will take the smell out.

It's nice that Cobb is coming down today. I doubt he'll dip under 200, but he's surprised me before. :roll:

Yay Cobb!! (Not so much on the spraying though! :o ) So nice to see those digits dip under the 200 mark for you Suzanne! :-D
Good luck on the odor neutralizing. I have a naughty orinch boy who just LOVES to pee on the curtains. It would run down behind the baseboards making it impossible to clean without removing them. We finally got rid of all curtains in the house, bought another new shower curtain (and keep the door closed), and I think we finally have the issue nabbed....I think....I hope. I feel your pain!
 
I'll have to check the curtains. I haven't done that yet.

Well, a much better PMPS for Cobb tonight. However, since we haven't seen much action on this dose, I increased by .5 tonight. His numbers look so much better but they aren't where we want them just yet!
 
he's just teasing you to only give you a tiny spot of barely blue for his ss!

i might try that on the car carpet. i have a whole bunch of bottles of things that are supposed to get pee out that i've accumulated in a cupboard - cuz nothing seems to be great. but i might give that one a try since it worked for you. i've thought about taking it to a car detailer in town, too.

three years ago we took up the carpet in all of our main floor and replaced it with bamboo and one area rug. now any kitty oops (and there's been no pee at all) take a paper towel to clean up. i'll never go back to all carpet. i have allergies and this is much better for me.
