Good Morning, Everyone,

Roni and Brad are in our thoughts and prayers today.

Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans. He ate all his nighttime food and was very ready for his breakfast. We had a good test, shot, first sitting of breakfast, a good schmooze, and now a nap in his little bed by the radiator. The LagoonMeister has gone further up on shore this morning, so I hope he will find his way back into the lagoon over the course of the day. Yesterday was flat, hovering around 100.

It is a heat wave outdoors: 35 degrees already! Tonight it is supposed to get very cold, so I will be able to open up the coolers and get some really freezing temps back into them (the things in them are staying frozen, however: at least on last inspection). Only 3 days until the new 'fridge arrives!

Nothing much planned for today. We were going to go snowshoeing on the easy trails at the VIC, but my quad muscle is really hurting, so I'm going to rest it and just go for a walk in town. I have DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Syndrome).

Wishing you all a good Friday,

Ella & Rusty

Hope your Quad feels better with some rest...sending hugs to you all...

Hi Ella. I'm sure Rusty will be back on his throne in the lagoon soon. He likes to surf there too much not to go.

You should start a "short calendar" for your refrigerator delivery. Here's one you can print and use.

You color the sides and trim of the fridge tomorrow morning, the freezer door on Sunday morning and the refrigerator door on Monday morning when you get up. That way you'll have a nice smiling refrigerator to remind you that today is day.

Enjoy your walk.

Nicely done, LagoonMeister! Good idea to take it easy today, you don't want to rush a strain.
Come on refrigerator delivery man!

I hope your quad feels better! Snowshoeing sounds like so much fun... we are very deprived of winter in Miami; it already feels like summer :YMSIGH:

Re: 2/15 Rusty AMPS 135, +5.5 92

Hey Ella,
Owwwie.. quad muscle... i hope it's better soon. Does moist, warm heat help you? or Maybe you could get Rusty to nap on your leg and let him be your heating/healing pad? It's nice the weather is cooperating with your coolers until your fridge arrives. You're going to be one of the few people i know who lost their fridge and didn't lose almost all their food.. (anti-jinx)
It's very very nice to see Rusty back at his Meister duties in the lagoon!!
Hugs and scritches.. have a wonderful night. - mary and ollie

Hi Ella......yay for Rusty back in the lagoon

Ouch on the quad muscle....I hope that gets better soon. I know how painful that is.

Woohoo almost time for the new fridge....I love new toys. :-D

Thanks for the info in Check's condo. I do know of Dr Peterson's Endocrine Clinic....I get his newsletter in email.
Time to learn up, so I can recognize a problem with Checkers.

Rusty, did you come to visit Neko tonight? Maybe you can show her the way back to the lagoon later.

Ouch on the quad. Some heat and really gentle rowing to keep it moving? Hope it's all better for tomorrow.

Hi again and thanks for visiting. I didn't get to many condos this evening because it took a long time to locate Stu's condo where I got all the advice on methimazole dosing (I wanted to make sure that Barb/Checkers had the info. that helped me so much in 2010).

So I'll just say ni ni. Rusty's +4.5 number is food-influenced: he ate his dinner late (he free feeds).

 A heat wave!!!! Glad to hear everything is staying frozen! Hope it stays that way until the new 'frig. Rusty's doing a nice job of surfing in the blues. Hope you all have a great evening with lots of snuggles! (and warmth!!!!! says the Florida girl!!!!) Sleep well.
