I did get some more sleep thank you - glad I didn't leave it any later to test her again though. That has to be the shortest bounce I've seen from her so far!!

I had been planning to go and replenish my testing supplies for her - I still have plenty, but I always like to stay well ahead on it in case she has a few cycles where I can't really leave her. I guess that's going to have to wait until later now.

And since she seems to be staying pretty level, taking the opportunity to run out and get more testing supplies...and some syringes with 1/2 unit markings - it's getting tricky to eyeball these small doses on syringes with 1 unit markings only especially first thing in the morning!

We can't get 1/2 unit syringes here so I'm very lucky that both Purrdy and Vyktor decided to do their diabetes thing in the summer while there's plenty of natural light around. I hear you on the early morning drawings, I have to get up a little earlier than I otherwise would just to give my eyes time to get in focus!

I think some places here sell them and some don't. The original prescription I had was for the Lantus and 100 syringes all on one prescription. I went to Costco for the Lantus as they were quite a bit cheaper than anywhere else, but they only had the 1 unit marked syringes. It wasn't so bad when she was above a unit because there was at least enough movement on the plunger for me to be able to see the dose, but since her reduction to 0.75 it's difficult to measure - it took me a good few minutes to get my eyes in focus to measure it this morning...plus the help of the brightest light in the house AND a flashlight. Fortunately, Walmart where I get all her test stuff also has syringes with the 1/2 unit markings so it was easy to pick up everything I needed at once!! If I could only get the 1 unit marked syringes I'd no doubt manage somehow, but I reckoned I might as well make it a little easier if I could.

She's looking good again today - OK, she's in low blue rather than green, but she's fairly level on her readings which I'm happy with.

And with those nice last 3 readings, I get to go to sleep tonight too No doubt just in time for her to try for another pj party tomorrow, but at least I'll have had a decent sleep first - thank you Rosa
