...the best laid plans....

Since I'm out of 4% carb alternatives until I can get to the store, I'm stalled a bit on the sliding scale. I stuck with 1.6u since food is back to being a variable (but they are eating!).

I should be able to stop by the store tonight...I hope. (Been down, sick, past two days - too sick to even test the Poop during his cycles - would think about it, then crash again - bummer.)

Cie la vie.

Morning Teresa, ~O)

Really sorry to hear that you have not been feeling well. Hope that turns around very soon. At least The Poop is behaving well for his Mommabean and allowing you to be a wallflower right now. Keep those dancing shoes off for now Poopy! :-D

Awww. Thanks! :YMHUG:

Unfortunately, I have a few ailments that kick my butt on a pretty regular basis. Not fun, but livable. I feel much better today...but have a strange mystery fever. Not sure what that's all about but at least I can function and go to work. Can't afford more days off.

And the Poop has been a pretty good sugar baby, not making momma bean dance hard when she doesn't feel good. Am very thankful for that!

Y'all have a great day!

Teresa -

So sorry to hear you're not feeling well; I do hope you're better SOON! Glad to hear Poopy is behaving for you...aren't they sweet that way? :-D

I don't know if it's an option for you, but we order our food online. I like having it come to my door!

Take care -

Libby (and Hershey, too!)

Sounds like a plan, Teresa.

When you can get some more night time numbers and determine if his consistently lower night time cycle is a definite pattern, we might be able to adjust food/insulin and lower those pmps pinks. Then you would have a regulated kitty!

So sorry You are not feeling well. Hopefully that will pass quickly for you!

We order our food online too. I go back and forth between about 3 places, search for best price and try to get free shipping or at least cheap shipping. It’s still cheaper for us than running to store. I usually order 5 cases at a time since our income is sporadic. It works very well for us, and no schlepping cases of cans!

Hi Teresa,
I am so sorry to hear that you are not feeling well.
Hope you are up and feeling better soon!
Glad the poopster is being good for you!

I hope you feel better soon.

I, too, do the old fashioned way and go to the store. Not exactly in a neighborhood that packages on the doorstep might stay put until I get home. Close to the street with a high walk volume.

So sorry your'e not feeling well.
Arthritis can really kick you in the rear during a flare-up.
Glad you are doing a bit better today and hope it continues.
Take care of yourself and rest as much as you can and Poopster, keep being a good boy for momma. cat_pet_icon

From a former midwesterner - that's why people move south! ...and stay!

Hope you're feeling better soon... baby want's to dance!

Hope things are better for you today Teresa. Behind the ear scratchins for the Poopster too!
(((((hugs)))))

Thanks, guys. Really. :YMHUG:

The RA is just one of my fun ailments. The one that really kicks my butt (no pun intended) and makes me miss work, is a bit more ... um ... invasive or debilitating, depending on how you view it. When it kicks in, it's like having the flu. You don't dare go anywhere, keeping the bathroom close. Unfortunately, it kicks my butt 2-3 times a month. Fun times! Not.

I know. TMI. :-D

And no puns about Poopy's name!

If you are interested, pm me. I have celiac and it took years of similar symptoms to get a diagnosis. (if you already know what it is, disregard)

It's otherwise fondly known as IBS. I've had it for years. Sometimes I can go weeks without an issue...then it's all I can do to get two weeks under my belt....so to speak.

And, Sue....thank you. :YMHUG:
