LOL that's the Diabetic Tango! Just looked at your SS, that was a great green surf you had a couple of nights ago... I hope you see some more green soon!

Re: 2/15, Moo PMPS 200, +2.5=105

Yeah He acts the same... acting fine. Just like himself. Playful, goofy, Still really cuddly though.

Is that a diabetic thing? Before he was diagnosed he was the one pet in the family that WAS NOT a cuddler. Never curled up on the couch or at night in bed. Always kept his own space. Now, he sleeps next to my feet at night, sleeps on me on the couch, and if I am sitting using my laptop... he very often is sleeping in my lap between me and the keyboard, usually w/ his paws on the keyboard. Not that I mind it! :)

When he pees he pees A LOT. He's not peeing multiple trips, he just pees alot at once, but he really always has. He has a good appetite, plays/fights w/ the other animals, talks to us when we talk to him etc.
In fact, in the morning when my alarm goes off, he jumps down off the bed, runs in to the hallway, meows a few times... Then I sit up, grab his kit next to the bed. Rattle his strips and say "come here moo moo" and he meows and hops right up on my lap and just sits there while I test him. When I am done I just say, ok let's go eat... he hops down and starts meowing non stop and jumps onto his cat tree where I feed and shoot him.

He's a really good cat. :) While I was typing this he actually climbed up into my lap lol Purring at me now with his loud motor mouth! :)

Re: 2/15, Moo PMPS 200, +2.5=105

I don't think I've visited you guys before...but Awwwwwww....what a nice condo! Yes, I know our kitties know we're helping them, and that bonds them with us in such a special way. I'm sure that's why Moo has become so snuggly with you. It's funny when they get used to the testing, isn't it? With Trix, I just have to open the drawer where I keep the roll of TP that I use to blot her ear after a poke, and she comes running, no matter where she is in the house. No doubt people outside this group will never ever believe it, but it's true, and it's amazing. That is why the sugardance is so bittersweet...we'd love our kitties to not be diabetic, but if they weren't, our bonds would be different - and we wouldn't know this wonderful group!

Have a great night!!!

PS - super cute picture of Moo!!!

Re: 2/15, Moo PMPS 200, +2.5=105, +4=55

Ok, here we go again in the low numbers!

55 @ +4!
Will be keeping an eye on him awhile now.
He's just eaten so might go up a bit, hopefully we can get by w/out having to break out the HC!

Re: 2/15, Moo PMPS 200, +4=55 HERE WE GO AGAIN

Hi Annie!

With that +2.5 so much lower than PMPS, I probably would have tested earlier than +4. I'd be sure and give him two good tsp of LC and test in 30. :-D

Re: 2/15, Moo PMPS 200, +4=55 HERE WE GO AGAIN

I just tested at +4.5 and he is back up and now at 99.
I wasnt too worried about the 105 because I knew he was going to eat and fed him soon after.
Maybe we'll sure right along in the 90s or so now.
I will test again at +5
