Yesterday's condo
Yay -- Return of the Krazy Krazy Katty! Jack seems to be feeling quite a bit better today.
And I had some realizations -- we've had quite a few schedule changes this week, and I realized that no shots meant that he and brother Ollie were missing their special treat time (CHICKEN!), as I always give them some chicken and hold Jack in my lap as I inject. So, I think we're going to resurrect that tradition (placebo effect, anyone?) so that they both get some extra love.
I also realized that it's been a stressful few days at work, with me glued to my computer. So that, in combination with the schedule changes and the warmer weather and the fact that there's no longer any Lantus in his body, I think this could explain a lot.
As for today, we've already had a fake injection session with chicken treat and done some playing with his favorite birdie toy that gets him so excited that he chases it frantically and then MUST. RUN. AWAY. And then run back for more. bcatrun_gif
Keeping an eye on the LB, as I'm still a little unsure of the poo situation (someone contributed to the LB overnight, but it's hard to keep track with two cats!), but everything else is in place.
