Shot 1.2u

The last two cycles have been pretty much flat so decided to go up to 1.2u. Was giving 1.0(fat). I was getting some blue's and yellows with the 1.0(fat), but i'm ready for the blue's and greens. Hopefully we will see some today.

Have a nice day everyone with some good cycle's. At least nobody has hypo'd the past two days, Yea!

Re: 2/15-Copper

Good luck with the 1.2u. Let's hope it gives the numbers you'd like.

Sometimes that little bit extra doesn't quite work the way we'd figure (at least it doesn't seem to for the Poop!). :-D

Hi Lori,
Good luck with the 1.2
Hope that brings you some good numbers!!

I'm totally stumped. I have been giving the 1.0u(fat) and getting some yellows and blue's. So decided to go up to 1.2u to get some greens. Instead, i got an inverse curve. At least it looks like an inverse. I haven't got his pmps # yet, but i'm sure it's going to be down because of the way he is acting. I can just tell now when he is lower. So it looks like an inverse to me or even high flats. Both mean too much insulin.

Would love to get everyone's opinion on this if you have time to look at SS. Not sure if i should go back to 1 or maybe even ,8u? I give pm shot at 7:30pm and would love to have some opinion's on what you all think before i shot tonight.

THANKS!!!

Lori

Yes, i feed him within 1/2hr of shooting him so i know that he ususally food spikes about 30pts around +2. By +3 he is heading down. Had to leave early today so had to get the +2 and didn't get home until +5. He hadn't eaten for almost 5hrs when i took his +5. Then was gone again until +9. His food hasn't changed and the amount is the same, so has to be the insulin.

Doesn't high flat's all day until the insulin leaves the body and then goes low mean that there is too much insulin? Can't remember?

Lori

hi Lori
an inverse curve is when the middle number is much higher than both preshots(upside down smiley)
looks like you just had a flat day, AND the higher +2 happens all the time, somtimes it just
usually the insulin kicks in at +3 (USUSALLY)
so I say flat day and stick with the 1.2 and let Copper settle

1.2u

Guess i'll go with the 1.2u tonight. Don't understand why he went high all of a sudden. WIll try another cycle and see where he goes with it. Just gut instinct i'm thinking he should go lower. But could be wrong.
