Binx got his blood work done for acro testing on Friday, but it'll be about a week before we hear back.

His numbers have been pretty bad the last week... barely a blue in sight, let alone a green. There seems to be a drop off right after fully switching to Tiki Cat (2/9), even though they're the same amount of carbs as the Fancy Fest. I'm wondering if it's because I'm having to give him more in volume to match the same calorie count that we had before. He used to get 3 cans/day of FF and now he gets 3.5 cans/day of TC. Is that really enough to put him so high?

Also, at 7 units now... omg.

Does he seem to like the Tiki Cat? I got a few cans of After Dark for Ember to try since she’s getting bored with FF and the only one she’d eat was the quail egg one. Does Binx have any favorite flavors?

Hi Briana, could the carb count in the new Tiki Cat be higher than what Binx was getting before?

I know some of the Pate+ ones were a bit higher than the FF when I looked into them and if Binx is carb sensitive that could be what you’re seeing.

He eats it a be more messily, but seems to like them all. Binx is a food fiend though, so less issues with him eating new foods for us. I wonder if there are other tiki versions that Ember might like? I know they have a mousse version that’s nice, harder to portion though.

Thanks, Kat I was thinking the same thing too! I think you’re referring to the carb %? I double and then triple checked the food chart and with a calculator and all put the carbs 3% or lower and that’s the same as the FF he was getting. Still though, I’m suspicious
