Hi all, Abby is coming up on 6 months on insulin (and turning 16 next month). I know vials are generally good for 6 months so I’m debating whether I should get her a new vial or wait to see where we are at in a couple weeks. I know her ps numbers are still too high (on AT), but she has been such a low dose cat this entire time that I’m curious where she will stabilize if I keep her on wet food at this point. Any one have any thoughts or suggestions? I don’t want to cause her unnecessary stress but at 16 if her numbers stayed in the 100s, is that good enough? She is not an ideal patient and I know at some point I will be working outside the home again so I won’t be able to keep up with mid day tests.
