So last night around shot time, he was in the 300's. This morning before shot time, he was 162. I decided to give him a JUST slightly reduced amount of insulin. Nothing extreme, you could barely tell on the syringe.

He seems to be acting fine though. Nothing seems off that I can tell, unless I am missing something. I should be happy about low numbers, but I'm more worried since they kinda came out of no where. Maybe I shouldn't be worried??... anyway, I'll get a +2 in a little bit.

Also, Happy Valentines Day folks! <3 Today, love yourself, your partner and your furbabies!

hi!

happy V-day to you too.

I suppose it's possible Toddy went south after the yellow last nite.
I know it's hard to tell without having to get up in the middle of the nite, I'm not suggesting it, lol!
but would recommend it on a nite where you can hang out with him and see where he goes.
Very nice start to your day thou in those nice blues. Nice going!
Have a good evening Sarah!

Sometimes when you see a higher number, like the pink PMPS yesterday, it's a high before a break. It looks like that's what may have happened.

Please forgive me for sounding dumb, but what do you mean?..

Sorry, but I'm hyper focused on the crazy wind storm we're having at the moment. nailbite_smile

hey again,
I just saw Libby mention the high before the break in this condo:
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=36744&p=386884#p386884

"high before the break" - some cats will suddenly throw a random high number a cycle or two before they have a big breakthrough. Not all cats do that, but it's a pattern to watch for if she does this again.

hope that helps, stay safe!
