Good morning LL & Happy Valentine's Day!
Today is Tarragon's 3rd Annifursary of FD diagnosis. We didn't join FDMB until Feb 17 after our vet suggested the site. Thank goodness she did. What a crazy 3 years it has been. I have been spending some time looking back at my posts from those first few months and somewhat reliving how scared we were. Tarragon was so sick at diagnosis and down to 7 pounds. Every waking moment (and many dreams), were spent worrying about the little guy and second guessing everything I was doing. Funny how now it all seems second nature. Looking back it should have been obvious that he was sick long before the diagnosis. We have been through pancreatitis twice, IBD diagnosis, HCM diagnosis, struggles with his asthma, on and on. I am so happy to say that he is healthier than he has been in years and is up to 12 pounds again. I want to say thank you to all of you. FDMB has gotten us where we are today. You all love Tarragon so much and it shows in your care, concern, hugs when things aren't going right or when I am just needing some encouragement. We love you all.
Happy furry purry guy this morning with all 5 p's present. He is still limping, but it is getting better. He, of course, came out while we ate breffis and had to have Mason pick him up so he could give Mason's face the twice over with rubs, headbutts, nibbles.
DH and I are headed to Norman tonight so he can finish his last class of this series tomorrow for his Lean Sig Sigma. I am going to do a little shopping and hang out while he is in class. The fur kids will have Mason all to themselves on Valentine's night.
Have a wonderful day and weekend!!
