Scratchie'smom

Good Morning everyone and Happy Valentine's Day. Special prayers to all those that need them for comfort and help, healing vines to those that need them as well. Been a sad few days here....

I didn't get my condo from yesterday saved (I was doing it from work - bad girl) but I appreciate the comments received on switching to Lev and also dosing. I increased Scratchie to 2.75u last night so hoping we will see some difference and he will get out of the pinks that he is constantly in these days. *Just a reminder - DH can no longer test during the day so I do that on the weekends. The testing he was doing was raising problems with the severe PTSD he has been diagnosed with. Maybe some day he can help out again.*

Recap of yesterday: (such that it is)

AMPS - 342
PMPS - 326 (increased to 2.75u)
+3.25 370 (tested again as thought that was wrong and got 217, but I think based on +7 it was correct so that is what is listed on SS)
+7 - 347
Fixed fresh food after this test but he didn't touch it. That accounts for part of the higher AMPS this morning I think. When he doesn't eat, his numbers go up.

AMPS today - 385! :sad:

He did eat a whopping amount for Breakfast though. :lol:

Posting from work?? I think that should be in our job description. :smile: I've got fingers and paws crossed for Scratchie and the new dose. I missed that DH isn't able to test. I'm so sorry about his PTSD. You've got your hands full and are doing great! Take good care my dear.. hugs and scritches from us - mary and ollie

Good luck with your decision on the insulin. I hope you can get Scratchie to come down some soon. I can't test during the day M-F either. We just have to do the best we can and work around not being able to test. It is frustrating at times, but we do the best we can. I hope you had a good Valentine's Day.
 
Thanks Mary and Carla, Hope you both had a great day! Thanks for the good wishes, he came down a lot while I was at work, let's hope he slides down some more - slowly!!
