Good Morning and Happy Valentines' Day!

Rusty celebrated Valentines' Day with head butts and kitty kisses early this morning. Edward and I are celebrating the 43rd (!) anniversary of our engagement. Friday, 14 February 1969--cold and sunny in NYC; we went to a graduate-student party that evening and someone else drank our bottle of wine!

Rusty had a good test, shot, breakfast of Wellness Turkey, a brief play before I took Edward to his yoga class, and now, upon my return, is chillaxin' on his bed by the radiator. I am in the process of making our weekly batch of granola. Maybe x-country skiing this afternoon at the ski area (if the snow there is ok), otherwise some shopping. We have a bottle of California champagne in the 'fridge.

Wishing you all a lovely day and sending healing energy to Sid, Rocket and all kitties who are in need of some, and sending good vetty vines to Leo.

Nice start for Rusty! That is the best way to start a Valentine's day with kitty kisses and headbutts. He is one little Casanova. :-D

good luck with the snow - hopefully the conditions will be good so you can go. Nice too that you make your own granola. :-D

Ella, as you learned the hard way, you can't leave an unguarded bottle of wine at college! I'm sure Rusty will protect your champagne until you're ready to pop the cork. Enjoy!

Happy Anniversary Ella and Edward! Hope you got to go skiing today. My DH just went to the Poconos on Sat. night. It's been a horrible season for downhill. Tried to go to Vermont, but they really didn't get much snow either, and we can't leave Daphne now anyway. I used to x-country ski too, but I had to stop both for health reasons. We even skied by you, I think you said, near Lake Placid?

Hi again, everyone,

We hope everyone is having a good evening. Rusty's numbers were in a good range all day and we had some good games and good naps. I didn't go x-country skiing: the snow is all soggy and it was too warm. Tomorrow will be another snowshoe hike, however.
