Yesterday was.... a NON APLHA DAY!! WOOT!! Yippie! YaHOO! WOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO! Mannie had a great amps yesterday, only to bounce at +2. What was nice about it was that he came back down from that, and for once did not go alpha. Pinks aren't awesome, but they for sure are not alpha, and I was glad to see them. I hope that maybe this time we have seen the last of the alpha zone. Yesterday was encouraging. Appy was good, CPC yesterday and this morning, LB is normal, Ketones test have been negative. Last night was normal in every regard for Mannie. We hope for a good day today, more blues would be so cool! I love this amps - this is good for him, hope we see more today. All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D :-D DGS was back yesterday. He was so adamant that he spend some time wit Mannie. So he did. He was very gentle, knew Mannie needed a quiet Nicholas, and not THE VOICE or the SPEED RACER. He sat by him petted very gently and talked to him, as best as a just two 2yr old can. "Man-NIE, Man-NIE, Man-NIE..." and then it was "Nicky go pool now, bye Man-NIE!" and off he went. I came home from dropping off DGS at days end yesterday to find Mannie camped out at the top of the stairs waiting. That was fun, it is one of my favorite times. We exchanged scritches, and he took off for the kitchen to await his test, and his dinner. What a guy! Test was good this morning, as was the shoot. Appy was good: he ate well, after I found the one he wanted - darn picky eaters! 98.5% Close to normalcy in MannieLand, still working, and hoping, on that last 1.5%.... :cool: ok... the waiting at the top of the stairs knocked off .5%. :cool: ;-)

Have a great day everyone! I back on DGS duty for the rest of the week. Today will be a travel/river day for Nicholas. weather permitting, we should know in an hour or two - might be an indoor adventure day. Paws crossed on the weather..... I hope to visit condos when time permits, it is so tough to do while he is here. I will miss you guys! Think blue, think green kitties!

Hey everybody!!!! OK. Per Maui's request we are off to a WARM and SUNNY, and SNOW-LESS beach today. Sand castles! Sand crabs! sand Writing! and Boardwalk visiting. This will be so cool. We will grill and build a bonfire and make s'mores. AND I gots buckets of micro-brews. :cool: :cool: I will bring my boogie board too - it is mega cool, and we can all ride on it. you guys in? Happy Valentine's Day!! Nice blue today Mannie! Sounds like he is coming along, thankfully. I would definitely say that top of the stairs added some % back. So sweet with Nicholas. Best buddies furever, those two. Have a great day Michelle!

I WAS ROBBED! Robbed I say, I was robbed. the stupid weather people said we were going to get all this nasty snow and nothing happened! What a rip off! Of course I don't like snow anyway, so I guess that is a good thing it didn't happen! :lol: :lol:

And my bean said it's kinda warm with the sun shining here this morning. I don't care, I want to go to the beach and feel the sand between my paws! Yippee.....sun and fun.

Morning Michelle, ~O) I'm betting the +2 is a food spike and not the other thing we won't name! What a nice report again on Mannie, and I always love the waiting on the stairs part. That means he's feeling good and glad to see his Bean. Always so sweet the way DGS is sensiive to Mannie since being sick.

Hey Mannie, you all wanna come here today. It will be 70 degrees and sunny, perfect beach weather. The little amusement park is open with the wooden rollercoaster, and they always have new eateries along the Boardwalk. Not too many tourists this time of year, so we'll have a lot of the beach to ourselves. See ya soon, Mags

Awesome start for the day and not too bad a food spike either. Have fun w/ DGS today, I know you will. Maybe a little more insulin would bring back that 1.5%.

Morning Mary :-D It was a great anps - loved it, wish eh would have stayed there. Slowly he is settling, now if we can just get rid of those bounces.... THX too on that 1.5%, and on DGS. He really is a very sweet little boy - very sensitive and understanding.

Hi Ella - no worries. I can so relate on the fatigue factor. I hope you had a great snowshoe. I'm sorry I am missing so many condos! Mannie is slowly getting there. Sometimes it is hard to watch these numbers, but I also know that I cannot rush him, or we will be in trouble again. He's doing fairly well, overall things are coming down. THX on the Picassa stuff. I am glad that works, and think I will use that going forward, then all that want to see can. FB is ok, but most of those people will have seen then on FB anyways. I know on Moonie - how incredibly sad. I feel for Brad and Roni. and you bet - huigging my kitties very clsoe tonight.
 
Happy Valentines Day!!! Is so great to hear that Mannie is back to normalcy! All those meds have side effects and its so difficult if you know they need them but will make them feel poorly. So were all happy he's better!
