I want to wish all of my LL Kitties and Beans a wonderful Valentine's Day!
Sending hugs and vines and kisses to all in need ♥
I hope Rex is recovering well from his dental, and I hope all kitties are eating well, peeing, pooping, preening, playing, and purring ♥
Happy Birthday to Gabby, Happy Annifursary to Tarragon, and Happy Birth Day today to Marje and Mike's new grandbaby ♥
All is good here. It's already/only been two months since I helped Ripley fly free. I miss her with all of my heart and soul. But drooler Marley and civvie Smokey are keeping me busy, as well as my preschool and kindergarten students at work. This is the first time I've been in a one-cat-household ~ there will be a new feline addition (additions?) someday, when I'm ready...
It was Valentine's Day last year that DH and I administered Ripley's first sub-q fluid treatment ~ we were so nervous, but Ripley was so calm and allowed us to continue the fluids for the next 10 months. (She must've taken cues from our favorite youtube kitty, Marje's Gentleman Gus.) I actually miss the routine of giving insulin shots, fluids, tests ~ they became wonderful bonding times, important daily rituals. But I bet my girl and her GA cousins are enjoying a special treat today of chocolate fondue with all of their favorite treats. (Mmmmmm... chocolate-covered shrimpies... :?  )
A while back I took this photo of Ripley and thought it would be a perfect Valentine's Day pic ~ I was standing above her, called her name, and she looked up at me with those big, round eyes of hers ~ I couldn't help but add hearts around that priceless, inquisitive mug:
Please give your Sugarkitties hugs and kisses and scritches from me and DH ♥♥♥♥♥
