WOAH yellow? And he didn't eat a bite of his food all last night. Two reasons. 1. He doesn't like it (which is strange because this cat will eat anything) or 2. He spilt litter in it again. That was the Chicken dinner. Trying the Turkey & Giblets in another room and seeing how it goes. We've had his bowl pretty close to his litter box on a giant rug b/c of his neuropathy, he couldn't keep himself up to eat if it wasnt' on a carpet (we have wood everywhere else). Everything was fine until recently that he's been covering -- too well...and I find litter half way down the hallway. Not going to complain - it's been forever since he's actually covered. He seems to be eating now, so hopefully he likes it. I reeeeeally dont feel like returning so many cans lol.

Yellow though. I wonder why he was higher last night and now even more. I guess he was this high on Saturday so it's normal. Just hope he goes back down.

Today I'm at an inservice all day - no kiddies. Will be a nice break, and I could've slept in....but I forgot to tell Kit so a-meowing he goes at 6:30 am - I was hoping to catch an extra 15 min (which in the morning, that's heavenly). You'd think it was a siren lol.

Ok, breakfast time! Happy Tuesday everyone!

Re: 2/14 Kitten AMPS 232

Cats generally prefer not to have food right next to litter. That factoid has been used to reduce inappropriate elimination by placing food in the place that was nailed. It isn't always successful!

Can you put any kind of vertical barrier between the litterbox and the food to keep litter out of the latter?

I wouldn't want to eat in my bathroom...so that makes sense! :) Just had to make do with what I had for the time being. I moved everything now and it's working since he can stand better than before. He ate a lot this morning. So hopefully all good!
