AMPS 110

@Mandy & Rex She's not copying Rex anymore. I just got another blue.

I know this is in "normal" range, but it's blue, so what do I do?

I don't really know if this would affect things, but in the morning she's so, so, hungry and we can't feed her for about 60-90 minutes depending on the day. She frantically follows us around hoping we will feed her. She scans the floor around the counter looking for something she can eat. Is this possibly stressing her and pushing her numbers higher in the mornings? Her evening numbers have stayed in a great range, so I'm curious.

That's a good question. Maybe if she does the same thing tomorrow, you go ahead and give her a little snack then do the AMBG at the normal time to see if anything changes. For today, are you able to test around +3 to see if it's back in green?

If you test 3 hours after feeding and her numbers have come down it's a sign the pancreas is working.
Are you able to give her a PM +9 snack? This may help to lower the AMBG.

I forgot to say I tested her 30 minutes earlier today because she was so hungry. I hope that's ok. I figured if we could move a shot up by 30 minutes once a day, I could do the same with her food.

Try just a small snack at +9 and hopefully you'll get :D AMBG!
I don't believe for a minute that Freckles needs insulin but that AMBG is a wee bit higher than we'd like to see!
