2/14 CRYSTAL - at last some good numbers

Crystal gave me a lovely Valentine's present today and finally came down into the yellow zone this morning - still high but for her it's a bit of breakthrough. Hope she continues the rest of the day like it. Big day tomorrow when she starts her R in her second cycle (under Julie's experienced and watchful eyes) so paws crossed all goes well and we see some improvement.

She's been helping me prepare the prawns for tonight's dinner, they are her absolute favorite food. After a little dish of prawns she is now settled down nicely for a nap, hoping for a few more later no doubt.

Nothing as sweet as a loving fur-baby. Enjoy her. See you in the morning (for me) at pmps. We'll go with 0.25u R unless something on her ss says not to. you'll get the pmps, post it and wait for me, then go with the same L dose as today. Using a separate syringe, then you'll give the R.

Then you'll test once an hour for 4 hours.
Does that all make sense?

Morning Julie, yes makes perfect sense to wait for you before giving the 2 insulins so see you in just under 12 hours (just given AM shot), lower BG so might have another yellow day, who knows.

Nice to see some yellow for Crystal today. I'm sorry I couldn't be around Wed to help you shoot R for the first time but I was distracted with Gracies dental. I know it will go really well tomorrow and you will learn fast how to use it to help Crystal.

Gracie is jealous of the shrimpies Crystal got.

Okay Julie, thanks for letting me know, no problem. Marje, I know you had a lot on your hands at the time with Gracie, it's a worrying time for dentals. Thank you Sandy for stepping in, I know we will be in good hands with all your experience. I'll post about 15 minutes before shot is due at my 17.45 once I've tested and she will be eating. I'll have the syringes ready, 0.25R unless otherwise told and her Lev in a separate syringe.

Just coming up for the sake of a time check at 09.00 here.
