Good morning! Well, I dont think she has pooped since the episode yesterday, where she strained and then vomited, then 5-6 poop segments. They looked like big knots, for lack of better description. Its hard to say though because the drooler Misty, likes to raid the lb, (YUK:()and there was evidence of that this am. I have a civvie that uses the same box, so I cant really know. I put an 1/8 tsp of Miralax in her food last night at amps, but I dont want to give anymore til I know for sure she needs more. Ive read that if she is blocked, that it might make things worse. I am off today, so I will try to monitor the best I can. She has never had constipation that I can ever remember anyway, but her stools have always been a bit hard since dx. I will be updating later. Have a Happy Valentines day everyone!

Laura, Max has had hard stool since diagnosis and that is why I started giving him miralax daily. At first it was every few days though. In the past it was only an issue if I gave him ondansetron and otherwise his stool was normal. The miralax really helps him. I hope you don't have any more episodes like yesterday.

Sending get-unstuck vines. Chi Chi, today's request. A nice, easy pooh. Something to make the bean happy. OK?

Oh, and Misty. As I used to say at my house (before I dog proofed the LBs), GET YOUR DARN NOSE OUTTA THERE! Yup, it's a dog thing.

Marilyn and Polly

Thanks Marilyn! I have no idea how to dog proof the LBo_O. My senior kittys have to have the box on the floor to avoid jumping, esp Chi Chi, due to her arthritic elbow:(. Its so disgusting that Misty does that:rolleyes:

She pooped! Im not sure when, but it was there when I scooped tonight. She was on my bed since around 3pm til tfs, so it had to be before then and after about 11am. I scoop in the am and pm. her pmps is nice and blue!

I read pmps as poops for a second there :woot: Glad to hear she's been- assuming it wasn't blue!

I had a drooler that was so eager to get to the lb treats that I had to hold him back while Vyktor was going or he'd try to slurp it up straight from the source - yuck! I did speak to the vet about it and although it's completely gross to us he said there was no harm in it so I did tend to let him clean up after :p
