Charlie is hanging out on a skinny .25 units at the moment. She SOOOOOOO wishes her numbers would eventually stabilize in the blues and greens!

Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the pros/cons of trying levemir instead of lantus? Lantus has been good for us thus far (WAY BETTER than the drama we saw on caninsulin), but just wondering if we should consider testing out levemir if we are able to have access to it in the Netherlands?

I'm also wondering how calipers work and if they are easy to use. I am struggling to even dose a .25
Doing a skinny .25 is quite the challenge, and I'm wondering how we give less or "slightly more" than this effectively?

Not sure if I can find calipers here, in any case, but I can look.

Any thoughts on all this?

morning. ~O)
do a google search for digital calipers.
Most of us have these. http://www.harborfreight.com/6-inch-digital-caliper-47257.html
That will give you a comparison of what you are looking for.

Calipers help keep your dose consistent as most of us have found that the marks on the syringes aren't very accurate or consistent.
So when you get down to the tiny amounts, one drop can matter. Especially if the marks on your syringes turn out to vary by 1 drop
from one syringe to the next.
