Hi all!
I think the prednisolone is helping! Vesper seemed more comfortable last night (she wasn't shifting positions as much and was even happily laying with her belly in the air), and she is eating more than she has in the last few days. She even ate some wet food this morning!! And she is off her appetite stimulant!!
I asked the vet about budesonide, and she agreed that is a better steroid. She said she only prescribed prednisolone because she can't get immediate access to budesonide, but she'd like to eventually switch Vesper to that one. She said if it were her cat, she'd want them on budesonide.
The vet also said that her bloodwork that came back all looked excellent!
I'm feeling optimistic! Fingers crossed!
Any insight on when we should bump the dose up to 2 in light of the fact that she is on steroids? Our vet is recommending 2 for that reason.
