I was a little bummed to see yellow again this morning, but at least it's not upper yellow like yesterday...phew - for that, I am relieved! I'm not totally surprised...she had such a massive drop yesterday morning that I'm sure she could be extra-bouncy for a day or so. I'm not off until tomorrow, so I can't "intervene" with her +9 snack until then. I would SO love if she'd use an autofeeder!
All is well with Trix today. NO kibble raids last night. I still can't believe I fell asleep with kibbles on the floor the other night, but as Tricia said, it was a good test...now we know Ms P can pull out the big guns if necessary! However, we do not want to test that very often...preferably never again! Today we have our happy appy, snuggles, bright eyes, and adventure-hunting. She was so cute trying to get between the blanket and the couch (the blanket was dangling over the edge of the couch..."What's back there???" Gelcap was smooth, too. We only have one, maybe two, doses of banana meds left. I do want to use the whole bottle up, but we will both be happy to see them go (although admittedly I'm also nervous...the meds have done so much for her and I hope we've run them long enough to have fully knocked out whatever bug it was that she had.).
She's scheduled for a follow-up in a week and a half...vetty wanted her to be off the ABs for at least 5 days before retesting. We'll actually be doing her full senior panel at that time, since she's due for it early-March anyway. This way we can (hopefully) save a trip. It will be very interesting to see where her kidney values are now.
She's in THE cutest belly-roasting pose right now, but my stupid phone is out of room again so I can't snap a picture...argh.
I didn't hear from my parents yesterday, nor did I try to contact them. I want them to have a breather from everything and everyone! I assume they are still having a wonderful time. Yes, @Marilyn, I am feeling pretty relaxed about them being relaxed...it makes me happy that they are enjoying themselves....it is so very deserved.
In the meantime here in Central NJ it is beyond bitter cold....low teens with fairly high winds. I wish I didn't have to step outside to go to work!
Time to get working...have a great day, L&LL!
