Simon's BG is still all over the place and the vet has no answers. He checks out fine. No infections, nothing wrong with his mouth, blood tests all good.

He is fully out of remission and I am so bummed. The dental surgery triggered it for sure, but I have no choice but to go with it. He is particularly prone to higher numbers at night and does not seem to come down as well after PM shot even though it is the same amount as the am shot. Not sure why. He comes down to manageable levels at nadir during the day but not at night... :YMSIGH:

Just have to keep the faith that his pancreas will kick back in.

He has been very "vocal" recently which although he has a tendency to be a talker, this seems much more strange...like he is trying to "tell" us something. Vet says nothing is wrong but I am still worried due to the amount of vocalizing he is doing lately. Any ideas? I am perplexed by all of this and by his numbers which are all over the place! I am home from work today so going to do another curve to see how the 1.25u is working. confused_cat
 
Thanks Sue...we have ruled out these things since I had read that. He can see four rooms away (like an eagle) and the smallest noise can perk his ears up. He is just a motormouth like the article says and he has been "rewarded" with "be quiet" freeze dried chicken...hubby has been doing this so now he has to understand that he cannot keep giving these little tid bits to him.. :roll:
 
Hi Joyce,

Was wondering about you guys and took a peek at Simon's ss. Better preshots than that first one you got and still below the renal threashold. Looks like he has room to drop though. Wonder if, when you can monitor, increasing the dose for that 200 range to a fat 2.5 and see if he makes it into double digits.
