AMPS 311 - shot .18 (or something like that. I tried to shoot a tiny smidge less than .2)

Very encouraged by that AMPS number. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do as good of a curve today as we're out for church during the morning, then have lunch plans with friends immediately after. Still, I think I'll be able to get an idea of what the dose is doing even with only a few bg checks.
 
Since I'm new, I don't have the background, but it sounds like you're making progress. Yeah...have a good day! Will be interesting to see the #'s tonight.
 
+6 is 357

Obviously, that's not the kind of number I'd hoped to see for a +6, but I'm not completely discouraged by it. Sam rarely has predictable days, other than a "good" day for him is usually followed by a high or flat day. Anyone else care to speculate on this?
 
Someone should check on that full moon thing if that's what we're dealing with.

I was really hoping for better. Let's see what his PMPS is.
 
Hmmm, he is a puzzle, isn't he? I would tend to say this looks like too little insulin, but then he's faked us out before, so if you aren't seeing an increase in symptoms I think it's ok to try 0.2 for another cycle if that's your gut. If it were me, assuming the next PS is higher than the +10, I'd probably try 0.3. It looks to me like any bounce has worn off, and then #s going higher today from dose being too low. But I know he has his own patterns, so I'm not married to that interpretation.
 
I would be tempted to try .2u one more cycle since there are no ketones. Give him one more chance.

If he is high in the morning then go up, but I would go up slowely like by .1u's.
