Good Morning, Everyone,

Another late morning. Rusty had a good night and a good morning routine. We just finished our combing/brushing and he just ate his second sitting of breakfast (Rusty is a grazer). He didn't want to schmooze and enjoyed a nap in his little bed by the radiator. We are about to watch curling.

My knee is about the same as yesterday, but better than a few days ago. I have begun strengthening exercises, as advised. I don't like the knee brace I bought yesterday and will look around for a different one today.

We are supposed to get some of the big snowstorm, beginning this afternoon. Maybe 8-10 inches. I am so disappointed that I won't be able to go snowshoeing or xc skiing, not to speak of having to forego the mountain climb on Saturday. BUMMER!!

Aw, I'm so sorry that you are finally getting some good snow but can't go out to play in it. I'm glad your knee is slowly getting there, though. I hope you're able to find a better brace.

Nice start for Rusty. Enjoy the curling! We haven't caught any yet this year, but I find it fascinating. We got hooked the last time the Olympics were around, so I love that our LL kitties are playing!

Slide into the lagoon, Rusty, just like at curling practice. Should the kitties schedule a match sometime? Who could they challenge? That is a total bummer about your knee, at least you are seeing some progress... We are hooked on curling too but we miss the Canadian color commentator that they had the previous Olympics, he was was fabulous.

Aww, no schmooze Rusty? Maybe later? I guess when it's snowing, you want to hang with the radiator :-D

I hope the curling inspires Rusty to slide down to the lagoon! Too bad you've been waiting for snow and can't go in it yet :sad: Sending you get well soon wishes, that your knee will heal fast. Happy Thursday, Ella!

I hope Rusty slides down today. I'm sorry you won't be able to go out and enjoy the snow. I hope the exercises help your knee get better quickly.

Yo Kitties, tomorrow is the Full Snow Moon AND Valentines' Day AND a good time to celebrate the OLYMPICS. Let's have a party at Camp Stu, where we can have curling matches on the lake, skating on the lake, xc skiing, and sledding. And of course lots of good winter fuds. See the Full Moon condo tomorrow for all the details.

Rusty, you are one obedient cat. You listened to all your LL aunties and slid down for a dip in the lagoon! Now you surf safely while mama is gone, okay? Don't get too rough at curling practice. Wouldn't want a stone to get away and hit mama's mending knee! :mrgreen:

Sending more healing vines for your knee, Ella. I feel for your frustration - all the pretty snow coming and you can't go play. :sad: I hope you get better quickly.

Great sliding by the LagoonMeister today. He's looking great.

Double bummer on the knee - I hate it when injuries interfere with our sports plans. Don't you wish you could be like those Olympics skiers who dislocate their shoulder, pop it back in, and ski another run. :shock: Or those skiing without their ACL. Ah, to be that young and foolish again.

Yo Rusty - I'm up for party planning. Can we build a Sliding track? I so want to try Bobcat sledding. ~Neko
 
Not only a sliding track for BobCat and KittyLuge, but a curling rink, a skating rink, ice-fishing holes, x-c ski trails, and a special surprise for Valentines' Day. See you all tomorrow,
