Hi everyone,

Rusty had a good night, but a terrible congestion attack just before dawn. We were worried. But he rallied and has been good so far this morning. His breathing sounds much better and he ate all of his breakfast and then had 2nd and 3rd helpings(!) (he didn't eat any of his nighttime food, so he must be hungry). Edward and Rusty are going to hold the fort while I go on the ski. I decided that it is safe for me to go. Rusty got his first application of the transdermal Pred this morning. I hope it helps.

Will report this afternoon. Wishing all a good day.

Hi again,
I would have been on the board sooner, but I apparently tweaked my ankle on the ski today and it was really painful for a while, so I just sat around and watched the Olympics. It feels OK now. It was fine all day and I only felt it about 2 hours after I got home. One of those delayed-reaction things. So I iced, took Advil, elevated, and compressed, as they tell you to do, and now it feels almost normal. Oh, and I also put Arnica gel--the miracle remedy--on it.

Rusty had a good day with excellent appetite. He didn't quite know what to make of my "injury".

It was a glorious winter day. The snow on land was icy, but on the ponds it was perfect. We saw otter tracks and slides. Neat!

Thanks for visiting. See you tomorrow. I hope Rusty will have a good night.

Hope your ankle feels better. Arnica quite an amazing remedy...and one of the staples on our household for two and four footers.

Hope Rusty has a good night and breathing better. Glad his appy good!

Your northern snow sounds wonderful. Ours is gone with the rains, leaving gifts of major mud holes in steve’s backyard truck paths (his truck got stuck in it on Sunday, making quite more of mess in the getting it unstuck).:banghead::eek::nailbiting::bighug:
