Hello all, here's my last condo.

Simon is doing great. He sneaked a little bit of contraband this morning. So far, not too bad of a rise so hopefully he didn't get much. What a goober!

Simon will not eat the Wellness food which I ordered a case of. My civvie, Molly, has a really healthy and low carb diet now  Simon likes Fancy Feast classics, Merrick Cowboy Cookout, and that's it. I haven't tried the Merrick Southern Delight because it has fish, but I think I may try it and rotate it in if he likes it.

What foods do your picky cats eat best? I can put that Wellness in front of him when his BG is in the 50's and he just sniffs and walks away. Since he has to eat sometimes, I usually just break out the FFeast. Also. . .he's probably smart enough to know that he just has to wait for his first choice!

My DS age 2 is in the thick of toy train obsession. He refers to our dining room as the "tunnel" because we have a circular floor plan that he drives his trains around. I guess it's a tunnel because it isn't used very much! I cracked up when I saw this picture on cheezburger today.

For the longest time, my guys wouldn't eat Wellness. They were eating FF. I started feeding them home prepared raw. And then the pre-mix I ordered didn't arrive and I tried them on Wellness again and they scarfed it down. I stopped making them the raw food.

Some cats like the EVO 95%. (My guys aren't impressed.) Merrick Before the Grain is low in both carbs and calories. (My guys are marginally impressed -- it usually takes freeze dried chicken on tome to interest them.)

Have you seen this food list? It has several of the newer foods on it that aren't on Janet & Binky's list.

Oh, I can feel the "crazy cat lady" label on my forehead getting bolder. I'm actually considering cooking a raw diet for my cat...hmmm. In my free time

At least he will eat FF, which is a little better than Friskies! And the Merrick is good, but of course he likes the beef one, Cowboy Cookout (and it seems like beef is a problem for some--though we haven't seen any issues and he LUBS the COWBOY COOKOUT). He wouldn't eat Grammy's Pot Pie.

This is THE ulitmate ECID issue. And sometimes ECIDED (every cat is different every day)! We've been making raw food for Weezer and Doobie (civie) for several months. It takes DH and me a couple of hours to make enough for 4 - 6 weeks. But there's no guarantee kitty will like that either. Talk about rejection, wait till you slave over icky raw chicken and kitty says meh.

I can only get DC to eat Friskies and even with that his favorite is the mariners catch.
I've tried every type of pate food out there and he won't touch any of it.
He will eat the fancy feast gravy ones though.
I sometimes think he doesn't eat until he gets low so he will get gravy food.
I still by the Wellness and other brands to tempt him every week of so, but he won't touch them.

Well recently we've had the bout of the fud fits too.

So...I have tried a very different tact these past few weeks.

Every PS meal is some favorite of Attie's....FF, TOW, even a splurgey FF Appetizer if he is running low enough. Then the rest of the night he gets his raw rabbit or raw chicken...seems to cause lots less fussiness.

Are you ordering the ground rabbit or buying a raw premade food? I spent a little while readin Dr. Lisa recipes tonight.
