Hi everyone,

Henry has been on a drop of insulin for 8 solid days. PMPS +2.5 reading I just took is 58 and I'm panicking, he never drops this low this quickly. I did two tests and got the same result. He had been having lovely flat green cycles (except for his PMPS which is always blue for some reason.)

Can someone have a look at his SS and let me know what to do? I have a hypo kit with high carb food and honey but I need some direction. Should I feed him? Does he needs a dose reduction at this point (OTJ trial?)

Thank you.

Im sorry I can't help you, I'm a newbie here... but I know its nerve racking waiting for a response when you're worried. Have you tried tagging an admin?
Looks like Elise is on.

It’s a human meter? If yes feed a little mc. He hasn’t dropped under 50. Check again in 30 minutes.if it’s a pet meter feed hc.

Post your test in the title and I will check back. You will likely need to test every 30 or 60 depending on the tests.

Thanks. I gave him a spoonful of MC and he's at 76. I can test as often as needed, as you can probably tell I'm very anxious which manifests itself into too many tests on a normal day :(

I was a testaholic too but do you ever sleep?

I do, between my alarms! I'm going to start testing less, I think I just needed to hear it from someone else. I was just scared about shooting greens and because I can't test during the day when I'm at work so I was trying to make up for it in the evenings.

Thank you for all your help!

You can stop for tonight. She’s flat green and has been most nights. You could have stopped at +6 or +7. I used to feed at +4-;$ see f still flat two hours without food. If there wasn’t a drop I would go to bed. You could then leave a little food out as long as you pick it up two hours before amps. Do you have an auto feeder? They are great for that.
