Yesterday's The Count Stands at Four

Nothing better than starting the day with a nice, safe slide into the lagoon. :D Cinco has been very vocal this morning, which keeps making me think he's dropping, but he's just in the mood for extra rub downs. I really think he's just testing me to see how often I'll come running, because he's done after just a minute or so of scritches. Just asserting his power over the bean, I guess. :rolleyes:

Minka ate half her breakfast with enthusiasm, even before tummy meds, and is working on the second half in her own sweet time. Sasha wasn't so cooperative. I thought her tummy might be upset, but she inhaled three or four "cookies", so I don't think that's the issue. I'm going to take her a different flavor for lunch.

Harvey has been begging for food all morning. I don't know if it's the Pred or just his normal Hoover-like appetite, but I'm grateful he feels well enough to eat like this and keep it down (anti jinx). I am still only giving him a small amount at a time, to avoid scarf and barfs, but I will keep feeding him as long as he keeps asking. Dr. B says he needs to gain a little weight!

I want to say a big THANK YOU, once again, to everyone that visited yesterday and offered words of sympathy, encouragement and experience. I am so grateful for this site and the wonderful people on it. You are all a very caring, generous bunch and you don't mind helping with civvies just as much as sugar cats. We could not get through this nightmare without all of you. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Our contractor was supposed to come today to do a little touch up work on our floors, but once again he is flaking on me! :rolleyes: That must be a requirement to get a license - you have to be flakey! I still have to get busy cleaning for company tomorrow night, so off I go.

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :bighug: Prayers continue for Amy's DF (soaking up the sun in Hawaii!), Lyresa's DF, DH and DGD, Lisa's DF, Chris' DM and Elise's DM.

I know NOTHING about this....as I run to Trix with a plate of food. Or follow squawking Petey to the bathroom for pettings (why the bathroom, Pete??? How 'bout the couch???). Or put Noah back up on the counter for water (why does he keep getting down when he just wants back up???) Etc, etc, etc. I tell ya, though, it is worth every second.

I'm glad Harvey and Minka are eating well for you today...c'mon Sasha...time to play catch-up!!!

Too bad you're out there...I have an awesome contractor here (in addition to DH, that is). I hope yours surfaces. Have a great day, Tricia...and yes, LL is amazing and we're always here for you...we're all family....civvies, sugar cats, human family, too :bighug::bighug:!
 
Nicely done Cinco! Give mamabean something to smile about today. I'm glad to hear that appys are good , maybe pick but eating. Hugs for you and scritches for the furbabies. I hope you can rest up a little today.

Good on you, Cinco. Keep that bean on her toes with something other than your numbers! I understand those short, frequent massages are the best!

argh, i had missed yesterday's post and just read through it. Tricia, I'm so sorry about Harvey's diagnosis. I am encouraged that people seem to know from experience that many kitties do well on the Leukeran and pred. Sending you a big hug!

We had better luck with dinner - both girls ate, eventually. Cinco is sliding down gently. Don't know if he'll make it to the lagoon tonight or not, but that's okay. I love the blue. As long as he gives me good numbers, I don't mind being his slave. You all know what they say: Dogs have owners. Cats have staff! :joyful:

I am amazed at how well Harvey is doing so far (knock on wood). He is eating really well and seems to have no nausea yet from the Leukeran. Of course, tonight was only his second dose.

I hope everyone is having a good night.
 
Hi Tricia - good to hear that tonight is looking better. :bighug: I think Neko is trying to collect a few kitties for a good low blue surf tonight. Cinco might be on that team.
