Good morning! But not a good morning here. She is normally in her bed when I get up, but this am she was in the area by the water bowl. She ate all the food I gave her and then jumped down from the table and went to the litter box. I thought she was going to pee, so I grabbed a ketostyx to test, but she was trying to poop. After about a minute of trying and nothing, she went up on the sofa, which she rarely does. Then I heard her retching and she projectile vomited all her breffis. Then I noticed poop on the floor, and on the sofa. It was in small segments..not one long piece as usual, but about 4-5 pieces. As Im writing this she was just trying to eat the droolers leftovers, so I gave her a little more ff, about 1 oz. She is in her bed grooming right now. I have to go to work, so I will have mom watch her and will call her later. I am hesitant to put the ear drops in, so Im skipping this am, as maybe its something in it? I dont know..This would be her 5th day on them. probably not related, but skipping anyway as Im running late. I will update if theres any change or news. have a great day everyone.
 
It sounds like it might be that she was a little constipated. It's good that she ate after and is acting normal. I don't think it's the ear drops but would call the vet to ask about it. I hope this was a one time thing. It definitely could explain the amps though.
 
Remi's done that. Tried to poop but not very successfully and the thrown up but happily eaten afterwards. I tend to give a little miralax for a couple of days just in case but usually that seems to be the end of it.
 
I was going to say the same thing....my civvie, Frankie, gets back up sometimes and she does sometimes vomit from trying to poop. Sending healing vines that it's just a one shot deal for poor little Chi Chi!
 
Im at work updating her numbers. Mom said she seems ok, (but she doesn't really watch her closely). She said she has gone to the water bowl several times, and is lying in her bed mostly. I will update at pmps tonight.
 
I, too, have had that experience with vomiting when Cinco was constipated. I don't think it had anything to do with the ear drops - especially since she's been on them a while.

Sending lots of good vines for Chi Chi. I hope she's all better when you get home tonight.
