Well these numbers are just terrible. And I think Blackie is retaining fluids from the pred. I weighed Blackie this morning after peeing, before food which is when I usually weigh him. He weighed 6.8 oz more than 2 days ago. I didn't give fluids last night or this morning, but he does look a little dehydrated. I'm thinking about giving him 50ml of fluids a little later, but I don't know if I should. He did eat really well last night, so part of the weight could be food. He seems fine, no trouble breathing, no swelling in his feet and he is still eating well.
I'm going to talk to the vet about stopping the Pred. Blackie is peeing a lot more than usual and he has had several litter box accidents (another one this morning). And its only marginally helped his appetite. I have an appt for more bloodwork on Tues.
Does anyone know any other tests I should have done? Could the pancreatitis last this long? Or is there something else going on that we don't know about?
