Yesterday’s AMPS followed a +11 of 158, so I had hopes for a show of blue , but up seemed to be the direction of the day. With this morning’s AMPS so close to pink, we pulled out the big guns and shot .25 R with her Lantus. So today we are on R alert and will be testing frequently. Sorry Weezer.

There was quite a bit of interest in the UltiCare syringes I mentioned yesterday. I would recommend them. I haven’t had any trouble with bubbles. I did start a new vial at the same time, and sometimes I think the bubble problems may have as much to do with the pen or vial as with the syringe. But on the bubble issue, no problems to report. They have a smooth draw. The spacing between the markings makes it much easier for me to read. Although I certainly don’t have an experienced eye for micro dosing, it appears to me that the top of the plunger aligns truly with the first (zero) unit marking. Any other questions?

Seems she was bouncing yesterday & that can last for 72 hrs, right? So Miss Weezer still could get some blue today! Hope you have a beautiful Sunday--Hugs & Love from us!!

Hi Linda, sending good vibes for Weezer and you today. Thanks for the update on the new syringes. The top of the plunger aligning truly with the first (zero) unit marking is a good thing to hear, as I that was one of the problems some of us had with the MJ's. I have a box of MJ's to finish and will try these new ones next order The price is not bad either. Have a nice, relaxing Sunday.

I am going to have to try the Ulticare syringes. I always seem to be having problems with air bubbles so it is worth trying something else. I missed the discussion on them yesterday.

Good luck with all the testing today. Hope Weezer doesn't mind too much!

Thanks for the review on the syringes. My last box, which is a store brand, is hard to get precise, 'cause the plunger isn't flat, and you know the rest. :-D

yeah, isn't it funny how sometimes the plunger tops are wonky? thanks for letting us know about the new ones - i may order after this box is done. we just opened it so unless we're using a lot of R it might take a while.

Good luck with the R today - it looks like it is making a difference, nice slow slide down. Good job Weezer! Good luck with the new dose too - I hope Weezer settles into it soon. Right Weezer? You like this dose, yes?! :cool:

Hi Linda, good luck with the R today. She has come down nicely so far. Thanks for the info on syringes! I have been wanting to switch because my Terumos are a little wonky sometimes, and at our dose that can make a big difference. I need to order today, I think I will try the Ulticares! Miss Weezer is just sailing along in yellow today. Perhaps it foretells some numeric activity is close at hand... like blue? or green? Hope you've had a great Sunday, Linda.
 
Weezer spent the morning coming down nice and slow but reversed course in the afternoon. This PMPS is a R shoot number, but I have a bad feeling about it so there will be no R tonight. Sorry I can't give the logic behind my decision. There is none. But I have respect for these feelings.
 
I think R is a pretty personal decision - you are the one who has to monitor & deal with any consequences! We support you either way, of course. I ordered the Ulticares and I remembered - the first box of syringes my vet sold me were Ulticare! They didn't have 1/2 unit markings, so they didn't work for us forever... but as I recall they were pretty good otherwise.

There's a lot to be said for the amazing instincts of many of us in LL! No one knows Weezer as well as you do, and trusting your gut is definitely the way to go! :-D Seems like there are some kitties spending time on the pink and yellow floors today, what's up with that?

Thanks for the tip on the syringes. I ordered a box to try and if we like them we will cancel our autoship for the monojets and switch. Bubbles make me say really bad words! :lol:
 
Glad to see Miss Weezie came down for a bit today. She's been looking much better overall!

Interesting on the syringes. I was going to order them but someone said they tried them and did not like them. I just ordered three boxes of MJs from ADW.....I think I'll see how everyone likes the Ulticare. I ordered Terumos and they were so off it was crazy.
