first wheezer
no real change. started snorting again so back on lysine. numbers all wonky. getting a lot of yellows. have increased insulin to as high as .5u. oh well, was going to TID today but forgot. will give tomorrow a try with the TID. shooting and with-holding food til insulin starts working. the other cats are not too happy 'bout that.
'Twinkie
continues to do well on a decrease of prozac. down to 1/4 tab now. have taken into room with other cats. tends to stay in one spot and watch. that is until baby kohl cinder kitty your're so bad has to get her black nose into it. always the trouble maker.
since our talk with dawn, wheezer has left the cats alone when in the room.may have to have Dawn talk to beasley and twinkie now.
remains on .5u with a lot of blues and few greens.weight remains stable. no licking anymore and I can actually pet him without a reaction. is out in the open more and now sleeps with me. getting more inquisitive now to the point he is getting in trouble, lol. likes to sleep on the radiators. wrestles with beasley at times. likes to look out windows too.also purring more and head buting more. when he is affectionate, he goes all out.
Mr. Beasley
doing very well even though I cannot get him lower than the 1u of insulin. weight fluctuates between 12# and 12# and some ounces.(he looks good, huh deb?) looking very svelte if I do say so myself. but he does LOVE his food. he now knows when I feed my gang and waits by living room door and pushes his way in at feeding time. knows when it is snack time and never is late for meals.remains a very happy and loudly purring furball. still loves to straddle my chest with paws on either side of neck and knead. then he lays his head on the side of my face and sleeps and drools.still follows you around like a puppy.comes when called too.like to lay with you and most times likes to be as close as he can or touching you in some way
so all in all, things are going pretty well for the BOYZ except they are still looking for their forever homes.
thank you all for the continued $$ support for their care.
