Starting out yellow, hoping for blue!

She is doing great, is back up to her healthy weight of 12 pounds tho I'm thinking of letting her go 13, she is a Maine Coon after all. Her fur is almost completely grown back around her neck now where her etube was. She is bright and healthy and alert and back to hissing and batting at her civvie brothers when they get in her space. Totally Tawny behavior.

Thank you all for everything you did to help her get well and help me hang on.

PS her SS is not up-to-date, I am working on that today.

PSS - WBR: new job at lawyer's office is interesting but only 2 days (20 hrs) per week. It's a little far to drive (~ 20 miles) as opposed to the town I live right outside of (8 miles) but at this point I will take what I can get. One part of me wants it to go full time and the other part wants to work closer to home. I like it tho so we shall see what happens. It's pretty much a train yourself deal so that makes it ... ummmmmmm ... fun? LOL

Hi Desi & Tawny & Tinkerbell,

So great to hear how well Tawny is doing. Sure, 13 lbs. is a good weight for a female Maine Coon (Rusty is 16 lbs. 10 oz.). It is also great to hear that you have a job, even though it is only part-time for the moment. At least you have a job and it is in your field. Congrats!

Her underfur around her neck has pretty much grown in but that's all so she still looks kind of skinny around her neck, but look how bright and alert she is! That's one of her civvie brothers Rocket behind her in the 1st pic.

Tawny is a success story and an inspiration. Always makes my day brighter reading about how she is doing today. Give her a belly rub from me.

She is beautiful and thriving. I didn't know how sick she was back in November and December. Looking at her now, I would never guess. Yay for the blue!
 
She's adorable ....love her pictures!! Nice PMPS for her, too.

Glad you like the job....maybe they can get you some more hours.

congratulations on the new job - sounds wonderful even if it is a little far away.

Dear Tawny,

You is a very beautiful girl! Now you look so healthy. I love how fluffy you are. I am not at all fluffy. My fur is very sleek and shiny. And you are a lot bigger than me too. I only weigh 4 pounds now and only 6 when I was healthy. I am a very little guy :-D I also looked at the photos of when you was sick. I knows how bad you felt. How tired you were and could barely lift your head. I like having the feeding tube because then I don't have to taste any of the yucky medicine. The lady found me some new food tonight and it is chicken flavored. It is so good that I ate 1/2 the can. nom nom. Meow at you later, Love & hugs& head butts, Sid
