Today is going to be a little wonky because I changed up the food in an experiment to see if I could keep Lobster from vomiting. No go. He ate a great breakfast and less than 10 minutes later puked in the living room. I called the vet and they got him in at 9 am. Turns out he does have a blockage. They will do an ultrasound at 4:3 0pm unless a spot opens up sooner. Other than the blockage he is in really good shape. Playing, trying to eat, drinking and chemistry is good. The ultrasound will hopefully reveal what's in there so we can come up with the best plan to get it out. Meanwhile Sarge is in the pink from the food swap and maybe getting a little low before +10 yesterday. I hate to have him high but it might be a blessing today if I can't grab a +10 because I am at the vet with Lobster. At least I know he probably isn't plotting a low this cycle.

Good vetty vines going your way for Lobster. I hope it's something that can be easily removed.

Sometimes bounces are a good thing if you've got other things to deal with. Let's just make this a short bounce, OK Sarge?

Getting back to normal around here. Sarge got his regular food mix tonight so hopefully he will work himself down from the food high/bounce. It actually was a blessing in disguise that he was high today. Otherwise, I would have been nervous to go to the vet after work and not to come straight home to check after that 66 at +10 yesterday. Lobster is home and very happy about it. He is all purrs and please carry me around. The vets say his probable hair wad with what looks like a marble in it is on the move and they think he can pass it. He will get fluids through the weekend and I will water down his food. He just ate half a can of FF + water in one sitting. Poor little guy is hungry. We will see how that sits and I will give him some more later. Thanks for the vetty vines!

aw, poor little Lobster. I'm glad you got it figured it out and it's hopefully moving out! that's the best kind of blockage there could be!

Sarge will get back to business before long. It's good you could take care of Lobster today.
