Good Sunday Morning, Everyone,
It's -1 degrees F. here this morning. The weather certainly did change in a hurry! No appreciable snow, however.
Rusty wanted lots of attention in the wee hours this morning. He kept head-butting, kissing, snuggling, reaching out with his paws to touch us. I think he just missed us so much yesterday that he wanted to make sure that we were there. We had a good test, shot, breakfast (Wellness turkey, 1 sitting thus far), and he is on his little bed next to the radiator, keeping warm!
Today will be a day of relaxation for all of us. Götterdämmerung, which is almost 6 hours in length, is intense--musically and dramatically--and demands incredible concentration. It is difficult to imagine a better performance of this magnificent work (we have seen it a number of times over the years and have even stood through it several times). I wonder if any of you had a chance to see it at your local theater? (the Met does the live in HD performances all over the world now and is adding theaters every year.)
Now, off to the condos I didn't get to yesterday. (That will be all of them!) Wishing you all a good Sunday and continuing to send healing energy to all kitties who are in need of some.
