Hi everyone,
Getting a late start. Rusty is doing well and my knee feels much better. I did go to Urgent Care this morning and I have a mild sprain of the MCL. I'm to keep doing what I'm doing for it. No winter sports for a couple of weeks. So the 2 remaining mountains are out, as is skiing. I can wear a knee brace if necessary. I can do specific exercises and i can work out on the exercise machines if I can do it without pain.

It's a beautiful winter day. This morning it was -17 F, but it has warmed up to +4. We are thinking of all of our friends in the southern ice storm. Stay safe!

I know how much you love your winter sports...but at least it's just a mild sprain. I hope it heals up quickly so you can get back out there soon!

Nice blues for Rusty today. I hope he heads to the lagoon later. I'm glad your knee is just a sprain and not something worse. Sending prayers for quick healing.

Bummer on having to be inactive for so long, but better to take care of it now and hopefully have a speedier recovery!

Looks like Rusty is playing for the blue team today, but maybe he'll change teams later.

Sorry about the knee. I sprained my MCL 3 years ago and had to stay off rowing for a week, but I'd slip on a brace when I started back or for other activities like hiking. It made a world of difference, just to prevent accidental twisting. Sending fast healing vines for your knee.

Did you figure out the curling scoring yet? Count the rocks from the team with the ones closest to the button.

I'm glad all went ok at the urgent care place,a d ever so glad it is a mild sprain. I know it is a bummer to have to stay away from things for a few weeks. I'd be going bonkers! :roll: But it is nice you can do somethings. YAY! A brace sounds like a great idea. Recover well! I am sure you will.
