Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! Elsa outdid herself this morning: PRIMO!), and Happy Wacky Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! GUESS WHAT! Today is WACKY WEDNESDAY!!! Just like every Wednesday Lola and Bug SWEAR that it won't be wacky pizzas, just wacky Wednesday. Whatever that means.... The whack-a-thon marathons continue. Excellent pizzas to the best whacker! so... well... Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Starbucks Pike Place Market, their original blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... It's Christmas! We have to have peppermint! ....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with peppermint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts always on the menu!

I hope everyone had a great Tuesday, that the was been a good one. I accomplished alot. Well fun stuff! Breffis with my son, a few walks in the woods, and off to the big city, aka Seattle, for coffee with my Tuesday afternoon coffee buddy. I enjoyed yesterday - it was fun, filled with variety and the familiar. Good stuff! here's what I wrote about the day in last night's post: ""Hi everyone! I hoe your day has been a good one. We did OK here. Breffis with my son was really nice. I so love having that time every other week to get together and catch up on life. Breffis there is great too. French Toast today with a hot apple compote. And BACON! :-D YUM! After breffis I decided to make a short stop in at one of the urban lake parks and walk the Scriber Lake loop trail there. It is only a mile, but was fun to do. The lake was still frozen in most of its parts, so the ducks that were coming and going ended up sliding on the ice when they landed. That was fun. I also walked the upper trails here by the house when I got home. Just cuz I really didn't have much else going on, and could spent the time. The rains we were supposed to have early on today never did materialize, so I figured best get out while I can, before they really did show up.  Trail hike was nice, did maybe 3 miles, mostly woods. By the time it was time to head into Seattle, the rains had started. Got lucky! no Wet hikes today. Seattle was great - always so nice to catch upon the latest news from former co-workers. WOOT! Have a great evening everyone! I'm off to chill out, relax some, and get psyched for the boys arrival tomorrow. :-D  "

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   Elsa's whack-a-thons are still on the menu - again over her fuds bowl. Bug and Lola wanted some of hers, and she told him no way was she sharing. WHACKS to both of them!  You would think they'd learn.... Lola cracks me up - every time Elsa went to whack her she'd rise up on her hind legs and just stand there. She never did whack back. Elsa just looked at this standing on her hind legs kitty with that "Whatever" look.  We had a day full of pounding from Lola: the glass, the shower door, thee sliders, the shower curtain... pound pound pound. Silly cat! I think one of my fav things with Bug is his insistence on making sure I get to bed OK. He will camp out on my legs for a few, watch all, make sure all is secure before taking off for his own bed. Many a time I will awaken in the middle of the night to discover he has returned, and is sound asleep on the foot of the bed. Thanks Bug! Just another case of Normalcy in MusketeerVille! :-D

Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. Nicholas and I are off to swim this morning, while William spends that time at the other grandparents. We are due for some very wet weather, 90% chance of rain, so I am sure that after the pool it will be an indoor day for the boys. We shall see... I hate to keep them in if by chance it is sunny.... I will try and get to condos when I can....

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Nice pictures. I love how you capture the little things, like the moss and mushrooms. How funny on the ducks sliding on the ice. How funny that Lola stands on her hind legs but doesn't whack back. That's sweet of Bug to watch over you at night. Have a good day with the boys.

Morning Carla ~O) ~O) ~O) THX in the pics! I love trying to capture the small things - they can be so pretty, interesting. LOL, and yes: I love that up on the hind leg stance of Lola's. Really funny. Me too on Bug. :-D THX too on today - it should be great.

Re: 2/12 LOOSE LIPS: breffis... trails.. and the big city...

Sounds like a great day yesterday. So nice on the breffis with Anthony and the coffee with Barb. The hikes sounded beautiful, as always. Oh too funny on Elsa. She is finally exerting herself as the leader and the one in charge. Way to go Elsa!! Lola's glass pounding cracks me up. I have never known a kitty who liked to do that so much. And of course, your special time with Bug is priceless. They all have such different personalities. Have a great day Michelle!!

Re: 2/12 LOOSE LIPS: breffis... trails.. and the big city...

Oh, the sliding ducks bring back memories for me :-D They are just too funny to watch~
Too funny on Lola standing on her hinds legs, and good on Elsa for not being intimidated by Tall Kitty :-D :-D
I love reading about their different personalities. :-D

Glad you enjoyed your social day, Michelle, and back to fun with the boys today!
Happy Wednesday, and wishing you a few hours (or more) of sunshine

Re: 2/12 LOOSE LIPS: breffis... trails.. and the big city...

Hi everyone! I so hope your day has been a good one. We made 52 here today - YaHOO!, a heat wave. We even got some sun, which was not expected. The afternoon here has been great. :-D  What a day at the pool.... it was one of those go with the flow days. The first hour was fairly normal, until we got in the big pool. Some kid barfed chunks, well one chunk, so they had to close the pool down, spent 30 minutes cleaning it, and then waiting the required 30 minutes after cleaning. Sheshhhh... by the time we got back in there there was only 15 minutes left in the session. So much to Nicholas's disappointment, not much big pool time today. He was very good at going with the flow, accepting the rules. So back to the beach area until some kid used that pool as a potty, and then it was closed down for a bit too. LMAO: we spent alot of time in the hot tub area today. Most people just left. This was kinda cool: It was getting close to the time we could get back into the big pool, and Nicholas was getting antsy, kept asking how much longer. I finally suggested to him that he go and ask the guard. Amazing, but that is exactly what he did. YAY! We seem to be getting out of the shy thing he has.... woot, maybe lessons sooner than later. time will tell. :-D  We never did make anything else today. He was so tired after we were done - 2 hours today - that he really crashed on the way home, slept for close to three hours. Part of that was two hours of swim, the rest was getting over the crud. Both boys are on the mend - still a little coughing. Their dad is getting better, Erin is now really sick, and the other g/parents now have it too. SHESSHHH! The jury is till out on me,. I felt 100% last night, maybe 50% this morning, and that just never improved. Not too sure on tonight. oh well, maybe this is round two for me. If I can just keep the cough at bay, and keep it out of my chest.... ;-) Pl ans here for tonight, as normal. Just hanging out, and hoping I stay well. At least for the next two days that I have the boys. Have a great evening everyone!

Hi Melissa - It was a good one yesterday. Busy, but not overly so. The times spent out were nice. I love Elsa - she was whacking again tonight. She wants her dinner first! I so agree on Lola - she is doing it more and more, but primarily when she knows someone is watching her. Just too funny! The Bug thing is sorta new, but ever so nice! I too evolve how each one of the kitties here is so different from the others. kinda cool. :-D

Hi Jane - The ducks were SO FUNNY! I showed that video to Nicholas today and he just laughed and laughed. ;-) The Lola and Elsa whack ting is so so cute. I've been seeing it alot lately, and Lola stands like that but does not whack back. It is just so cute. No intimidation for Elsa from the TALL KITTY!  THX on today, and the boys - fun times as always.

Re: 2/12 LOOSE LIPS: breffis... trails.. and the big city...

Hi Michelle,
Those ducks need ice skates!
I'm glad that you are getting out for your walks even though you are not 100% healthy. Vines for you to keep the cold at bay. What a day at the pool! Two yucky events!! ohmygod_smile Nicholas is a champ to take the disappointment so well.

Thanks so much for the advice on my knee. It seems to be ok. I didn't have to have x rays. But I have to give it enough time to heal, so no more winter mountain climbs.

So nice to hear that the kitties are into their usual modes. Bug is really a dear kitty to take such good care of you. And Lola provides the entertainment. And Elsa keeps order and brews up some wonderful ~O)

Have a good evening and nip that cold in the bud.

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

I so hope your knee will be better soon. Very good that it will be OK. I was a little worried when it wasn't much better the next day. It is a bummer that you have to play it cool for a while, but I have no doubt that it not this year, that maybe next you will climb those 6 summits. You have such focus, and determination. KUDOS! THX too on things here - I'm maybe 70/80%, just a touch of what the boys have had. I am SO GRATEFUL that it hasn't ht me full force, and I so hope it won't! Paws crossed! nad yes on those ducks!!!! That was just too funny.
