Happy Caturday! <3

So this morning I pretty much made up for the tests we didn’t do last night. Lol

First test: 70 (thought, there’s no way..)
Second test: 95 (thought… makes more sense.. but I need to check one more time)
Third test: 85 (thought, ok.. well… third times a charm - so I’m going with this number)

All could be the ‘same’ number but I’m just blown away that he’s riding so low after climbing to 117 thought for sure he’s staying there or going up more.

Went ahead with 2.5 and will test him at +2.

I wondered whether he would be back in green like he was yesterday evening. 2.5U may be too much - even after a skip.
Yay! I'm excited to see what he does today and in the future. :D

The HC and syrup took care of him :) I’m going to run out to the store one last time so I’ll be feeding some more HC now and my roommate will be good to watch him - I shouldnt be too long… under an hour. I have my list :)

HC good or should I do something different?

I’ll be up for a bit making chili for tomorrow. I’d be able to check him if we do a token dose.. what would be his token? 1.5u?

I’d also be interested in seeing how he did with skipping again.. when skipping we’re seeing how his pancreas is working, since we don’t have much of a depot built up at this point, right?

I’m undecided :(
 
It’s a tough call. He has a depot from the larger doses. A token might not tell us much more than a skip. Are you having a party tomorrow?

Nothing too big, just a handful a friends over for football

ETA: You thinking token tonight and skip in the morning, since I’ll be having ppl over?
 
So would a skip be better so you can enjoy tomorrow? Or you could shoot and then skip tomorrow. I keep expecting him to react but so far he hasn’t. That’s why it’s hard to decide.

I’m really not sure either, lol

How about I do a token tonight since I’ll be up and see what’s up in the AM?

what would/should his token dose be?
 
You could try 2.0 tonight and see how he does. That would not be a token. It might be his dose. Or he might need even less. A token would be 1.5 I guess.since you will be up shoot something.

Just wanted to add (make sure you know) my response in message #36 wasn’t directed at you or me being frustrated at you one bit, I should have added an lol I just re-read it and it could have been read wrong. He’s in a weird place right now. He seems to be taking bigger leaps instead of tiny steps. So tough to see and predict what he’s up to.

I think he’s enjoying the ear poke breaks.. and I’m feeling antsy and want to test, test, test… but resisting. It is kinda nice not watching the clock go by so fast every hour if I’m being honest though, it feels like an hour is 15 mins when he’s low and I test every hour.
 
Yeah, the feed and test every 20-30 mins is hard to keep up day after day. None of us have a clue as to where he will land in terms of dose, so we are all throwing darts. It was clear that he was headed much lower when he was at 3-3.5U but now that he's significantly lower, it's better to err on the side of caution. Depending on how he fares this cycle, you might want to hold 1.5U for a few cycles and see how he does on it - rather than skip any more cycles - unless he tells us that even 1.5U is more than he wants.

I think that’s a great plan! Gonna grab a +6 in about 1.5 hours - I can’t wait to see if he’s holding true or not
