I am not sure what is happening, but its bumming me out :(

My civvie has been "off" the last couple days, but only in her demeanor. She is eating and sleeping and that jazz. I wonder if she is just sad because she can't go outside at the moment.

Anyway... off day, I got to "sleep in". Now it's :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: time.

Since he's gotten into kibble it can take a few days to get out of his system. I would increase him to 3.5u tonight. Hope you have a relaxing day off today!

He was 331 at the +4. I know he didnt get kibble today. (He is such a punk.)

My day off will consist of packing (or at least should be LOL) and staying out of 12-24 inch snowstorm we are getting. (I remembered to pick up cheese, whole wheat bread, cookies and beer at work last night... storm essentials ;) ) i am kind of hoping I won't have to go to work tomorrow... i am already told I may be the one to stay home because my car sucks in the snow HA

Ugh, a carb feast It can tae up to 7 hours to get those dang carbs cleared. o_O

Hope you can stay home tomorrow Nothing worse than traveling in snow in a car that isn't especially good in the snow.

He was 343 at the +6. At least he is staying flat and not increasing *anti jinx* i am going to leave him be until his PMPS. I feel no need to keep testing. LOL.

I took this yesterday and forgot to post. He doesnt understand why I told him no.

A question... how either of you (or anyone reading) had your cats teeth cleaned while on insulin?

I looked at both cats teeth yesterday, and Gordy definitely is due for another cleaning. His teeth in the back appear to be green (omg ew) and the ones right before are covered in hard plaque. Im assuming he is not pleased with this. But last tme I had it done, he was put under and gone for the day. And he was made to fast.

Yes, Bubba has had his teeth cleaned twice since he was diabetic and it is very important to do it yearly for our FD kitties as tarter causes inflammation and inflammation causes higher BG's and if there is a bad tooth and infection, another cause of higher BG's.

The first time Bubba was knocked out of remission was from a bad tooth and it was not even quite a year after his teeth had been cleaned and he had two extractions at that time . It is worth a trip to the dentist to have him checked.

PMPS 359

I increased to 3.5u

Ill contact the vet this week. My parents agreed to lend me some money so I can get both cats are clean sooner than later. (Rex had seriously gross breath [always has] and Gordy has gotten pretty bad since the switch to wet.)

Today has been a frustrating BG day... i know he hasnt eaten kibble today. And he is actually eating a lower carb FF at the moment. (Class seafood feast)

Why must he puzzle me so??

It very we could be because he needs a teeth cleaning and/ or tooth/ teeth extraction (s) I am glad that you will be consulting your vet :bighug:
