Day 4 and good progress on the food experiment

What a good kitty China was today!! It's been a very long one too!
Had to take DM to 2 appointments with neurologists today so had to leave at +3...and when I went out to start the car to go pick her up this morning, I had a dead battery. Luckily my DS was home and came to give me a jump, but we were running late by the time I got there.
Although I was really happy with the AMPS and two tests after, I was really concerned about her dropping while we were gone, but left her some food and figured we'd be back about +6.5 or so
The first doctor had made "special arrangements" to be there to see her at 10:30 (since it wasn't his usual day in the office). The next doctor was supposed to see her at 11:30 (in the same office) so we figured we were killing two birds with one stone.....then we sat...and sat....and sat. Finally at almost 1pm (STILL no sign of doctor #2) we left. DM was pretty agitated at this point and I don't blame her!
Of course the whole time I was worried about China too! It was 2pm (+8) before we got back in town and before I ran DM home, I stopped by to check on her and WOO HOO! There she was! Snoozing on the couch and doing fine!! Grabbed the 123, took a deep breath and ran DM home.
Figures we finally get some good numbers and I end up gone most of the day! It's been awhile since China's been in these kind of numbers and since she'd been kind of wonky lately, I wasn't sure if she'd do as well as she had in the past, so it was a very long day
And we still have to go back at some point to see doctor #2

Less stressful for you with such a busy day to have her in blue numbers while you had to be out though!
