Back from our vet visit, Tipper gained a few oz's of weight. Tested her minutes after we walked in the door since it was shot time so hopefully thats why she is high, again. Got a script for syringes with the 1/2 u markings so hopefully my doses will be more accurate. Thats about it, our vet wants to keep the dose the same. Brought the ss with us- she was ok with the #'s in the 300's considering Tippers history. If we see no improvement an ultrasound will be scheduled to check for abnormalities with her pancreas.

We are thankful for the baby steps we are making and hope to see her BG levels improve soon.

Hiya, Patty and Tipper :-D
Welcome home from the Vet.. I am sure the vet stress is the reason being for PMPS #.. no worries, you will have the right syringes soon & that my friend, is reason for a celebration.. well, that & it is Friday night too drinking24

Hi Patty,
Maggie's bg is high every Vet visit, too. Great you are getting the half unit markings syringes. Hope Tipper's numbers come down. Have a nice evening.

Really? Your vet is OK with these numbers? I was going to suggest increasing the dose to 3.0u providing you were able to get some checks in tonight or, since it's late, getting some mid-cycle checks tomorrow and then increasing in the PM if numbers didn't improve.

Just an FYI, if you purchase your syringes on-line, you don't need a script from your vet.
