Recap:
AMPS 196 - increase to 2.5 units
+3 101
+4 94 :D
+6 121
PMPS 117 - changed back to his own meter
+2 94 :D - did the double test with his and Vyktor's meters & got exactly the same!
+4 104
+5 112
+9 124 - fed a couple of tsp of LC, experiment to see if it brings AMPS down

Good day yesterday, not very green but look at all those healing numbers :):) It was interesting getting the PM +9, if this was typical of him then the rise at AMPS comes pretty late :).

Time to see how the experiment went bbl...

Experiment went well, that's his lowest AMPS to date :) I guess I shouldn't come to any conclusions on the basis of one test but still :):):)

Some great time in the low blues/greens yesterday! :)

We don't typically suggest the +9 snack until kitty is on a lot smaller dose and closer to remission. Of course, Neko would chew my hand off if she didn't get her +9 snack during the day. She has gotten that snack all of her life and I'm a wimp. I just switched it to a zero carb snack after her diagnosis.

Purrdy does have small meal at +9 of his AM cycle anyway, since that used to be his dinner time - and you know all about the chewing your hand off business! He's very food driven and was most happy to see me in the early hours with a little food - mum is worried he's going to start yowling at her at 3.30am for food (the way he already does at about 6 am) if I keep it up - teeheehee

I think I'll have to keep it up for a bit though, maybe coincidental with the increase or maybe some pancreas action going on there. I'm assuming there's no reason not to if it works - even if it is usually reserved for a later stage of the dance.

Those are some great numbers for Purrdy. It will be interesting to see if the +9 snack continues to make a difference in his AMPS.

I like the +9 snack. It's like a special treat. It's a good time of the cycle, so why not have a snack?
Serryn, I picture you as the mad scientist in her lab coat pouring over the charts and analyzing every detail. Carry on!

And have a good evening,

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

So from the highs of this morning to the depths of despair, his +8 is the highest number he's seen since being diagnosed, with the exception of his travel/late shot number (I didn't believe it so I re-checked), and to think before I ducked out to tbp today I was unhappy about the flat 140's :( I don't think this could be related to his couple of tsp at last night PM +9, I don't think it could be related to the little piece of dried crocodile I gave him before I went out at around + 5.5, it is the first time I've gone out for more than an hour since he's been here but I don't think it could really be that so I think the answer must be the usual - he's a cat! Grrrrrrrr

I am a bit of a mad scientist with those spreadsheets Ella - although some people might stop at just saying that I'm mad :woot:

Heading in the right direction already, maybe just a high before some lows, he's done that before - think green Purrdy, think green!
